Dog shit Dallas. Just [athetic. Their defense is so unbelievably porous....lol. The west was shit this year. I love this surprise though. Best tteams right now are the heavyweights in the ECF....and because GS haven't faced ANY average defensive teams throughout the playoffs, there could be a really bad rude awakening for them in the finals. I'm from Africa. And In Africa European football is the sport we all grew up with as kids. Now 21 I'm slowly starting to see the appeal in nba. Starting to understand the roles and positions etc. Golden state warriors just make the game look beautiful. Thier off ball movement is good. And the entire team seems to be working like a full on system. Everyone is performing in thier own way. On to the next game.

It is a beautiful game when it's played as a team sport, and the Warriors are the only team since the 2014 Spurs who play it that way. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the video of the 2014 Spurs title run vs. the Heatles called "The Beautiful Game" (I'm pretty sure there are 2 parts, though one version of the video on YT combines both.) That team was incredible, and they truly do play a kind of ball that is like a combination of jazz and the symphony...2nd only to the Dubs playing in Kerr's motion offense with the Splash Bros., Draymond, Iguodala, and KD (when he was playing fully bought in, instead of ISOing.) I think with JP3 and some of the other young guys' developing and another year of chemistry we might see even more incredible, almost artistic, ball next year.

I've grown to really like Wiggins this season. Was never a fan of his when he got drafted, but he has matured so much; not just his skills, but also his attitude. Great player and an absolute key to warriors' success. Let's go golden state!!!!

No he's playing a very different role from what was expected of him before and after the draft, but it's for the best. He's not "the alpha" who should play on isolation, but a great third or fourth option on a championship team, with clear assignements and no duty to create, but to finish plays.

@@chazza1688 I know that much but he isn't gonna learn defense well enough before the next game and I don't think regular defense will work with the way the warriors are playing. Rebounds are something the entire team can do better to capitalize on those rare mistakes to get a few more points off. Perhaps in the off season we'll see him working on his defense more and I believe that'll make a large difference, but that doesn't happen overnight.

My man Steph is so consistent averaging around 30 points every game Sure he doesnt drop 40 points like Luka, but he creates SO MUCH space for his teammates and is a lot more effective on defence comparatively At one point when he drove into the paint, 4 Mavs followed him, which led to the assist for Wiggins' gorgeous dunk

Yeah, a lot of teams this year seem to heavily rely on 1 or 2 stars on their team to do most of the scoring but when you face a team who can lock them down, there goes all of your scoring potential. This happened with The Suns, the Nuggets and now with the Mavs. GSW's different in that everyone in the league knows that Curry can catch fire and put up large numbers if he's not doubled but even if he isn't scoring well in a game, he can move the ball and enemy defense around so that Clay, Poole, Wiggins, Looney or any others from the deep GSW bench can pile on the numbers until they're suddenly leading by the 3rd or 4th quarter. The Steph Gravity is real, even if his scoring isn't hot that day. GSW is teamwork at its finest in the league.

to be honest, it's been years since I watched NBA games with this regularity. I'm from the Jordan and Kobe generation. The Alphas generation. Everything was about these stars. But with Steph, Klay and the others, this sport has become more and more attractive. GSW is less the brute force of a LEBRON. it's elegance in execution and it's the beauty of teamwork. Well even if the Mavs will lose, Luka can take this as a lesson and he knows on what he needs to start working in this postseason, and it's defense. He's already a well polished machine on offense, but he needs to get waaaay better on the other end. Kudos to GSW, and I never expected Wiggins to be such an important cog in their system.

@@bjrowland25 You know Steve Kerr played and studied under Phil Jackson and Greg Popovich for probably close to a decade if not more and as an ( AVID ) student of the game and with a high IQ in his playing days , there's just a massive truck load of knowledge and understanding he's bringing on board. Very few of the current coaches in the NBA can boast of his resume and to top it off, having a group of respectful, humble, disciplined players like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala and even Dray Dray who only goes ballistics at times on the court is a plus plus that any serious- minded coach would love to have. The GSW organization itself is well- oiled and well- managed institution with each individual playing their role to the best of their ability for their overall success. What a great place to be.

Suns vs Warriors would've been an entertaining WCF battle. Its just disappointing they didn't matchup well with the dallas offense and couldn't slow down luka. At their norm it would've been fun seeing them play the Warriors. We all knew this series was gonna end in 5 or a sweep. This deep into the playoffs the mavericks just don't have enough firepower to compete and the warriors certainly won't allow the other guys to heat up and help luka.

Watching GSW vs Dallas games, even when Lukas is going crazy with scoring, you just had a hunch that GSW is going to win. This game was so typical of it. GSW was just easing off their Defense then, when Dallas was near the “danger” point, Poole comes off with the devastating 3-pointer to finish the game. Like an announcer said at the closing of the game, Lukas needs to improve his defensive skills. You know those people who are regarded as “Idiot Savant” who have extraordinary talent. Lukas, in this case, is “Savant” in scoring but an “Idiot” in defense.

Too harsh man... People like to talk smack about Luka's Defence, probably because he looks a bit soft, but he's far from a defensive liability. It looks like he's getting scored on a lot because a smart opponent (like the warriors) knows it's a good way to wear out the other team's superstar - attack him directly whenever possible, get him into foul trouble, make him take some hits. Also consider that he must be extra careful with his fouls because he needs to be on the court 40 minutes a game - and you get a false image of a bad defender.

I've said it before, but everytime the warriors win a championship they have an x factor who produces outside of the big three of curry klay and draymond. this series It has been Wiggins, Memphis was Poole. Both of them have been balling tf out.

I don't understand how the contract part works but EVERYONE is saying the Warriors can't keep Wiggins as well as sign Poole but if they can find a way they should do it. This nucleus is something special unseen before and I feel we're just as potent like when we had KD. Poole is obviously our future but Wiggins has came up HUGE in these playoffs. I honestly don't want to part with anyone 😭😭😭

In order for them to keep most of the players of GSW the Players who are receiving high salary has to sacrifce by slashing down their pay by sharing it to players that needs increase , so the managemant can cope up with the salary cap, if they want to retain most of the member of this seasons squad.Just my opinion, if they dont want to give in to that idea, then they can kiss goodbye to this marvelous nucleus of the teams composition.

It's not that they can't, it just gonna be expensive, because they surpass the salary cap, they have to pay extra money as penalty. If they win the championship, usually the team will be willing to pay the luxury tax. So just pray that they win so we can keep everyone.

If the refs could wear the mavs uniform in this game they would and if the commentators could wear a mavs cheerleader uniform and boo the Warriors, they would all night long. The narrative for this game is so one sided. Too bad for them, the team they were cheering for still lost. It's going to be the same in game 4.

It is just MIND BOGGLING to me how much gravity Curry has on the court.. at 3:07 there are two defenders chasing him and Draymond fakes the handoff to him. Both defenders were so focused on double teaming Steph off the ball to try and stop a 3 point shot that Draymond gets a wide open lane. Insane
