Everybody else here has some sort of experience with Golden Sun, then there's just me, never played Golden Sun, and only know Isaac through Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an assist trophy.

@@Fizhure I've played to original and started playing the sequel but never got that far. I like both game and I do recommend at least the first one, the second one if you don't mind continuing a (probably) dead series, and the third only if you're obsessed with the golden sun (I heard it wasn't that good)

@@Fizhure I haven't finished it, but Golden Sun, The Lost Age is worth playing as well since the developers had to cut Golden Sun into two separate games due to how big it was. The third one is up to you.

It's interresting how their theme is more on the dreadful side compared to Saturos' one for example. I guess it's because you first fight them in a fight you actually can lose.

There's also the difference in motive. The conflict of Saturos & Menardi vs. Issac & party was based on a disagreement over whether the lighthouses should be lit. It was nothing personal; Saturos & Menardi only attacked Issac because he was in the way of their goals. Karst meanwhile blames Issac for the death of her sister and won't stop until he's dead. It's much more personal. Then you have Karst and Agatio turning on Felix (despite their goals being aligned) because they didn't feel they needed Felix's help with the final lighthouse and felt threatened by he and his friends' growing strength. They're much darker overall than Saturos & Menardi.

Loved the balaclava face headband masks. Got one myself. A gambit balaclava. I got the strong thai boxer facial features and jawline as well. So i look perfect wearing it. Will wear it when i demonstrate the power of my new hybrid sword-machetes.

Imagine adding Isaac to SSBU, with a Lighthouse map. It would rotate through Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Mars, and Saturos+Menardi or Agatio+Karst would show up as environmental hazards based on which one you were on. And every once in a while Doom Dragon would show up and Cruel Ruin the hell out of everyone. ...But instead we got Sora who isn't even a Nintendo character

I found these guys better than Saturos and Menardi. Saturos and Menardi while they had honorable intentions, went about it all wrong. Kidnapping Sheba, Terrorising and slaughtering people in Lalivero, being basically antagonistic in nature made their intentions seem less honorable. Agatio and Karst did not kidnap people, nor did they terrorise anyone not involved in the lighthouse business. They both were fuelled with saving this home, and avenging their lost siblings. Their siblings would not need avenging if they had just told people what was happening to the world, instead of resorting to terrorising and theivery.
