The Golden Temple (also known as the Harimandir Sahib (lit. 'House of God', Punjabi pronunciation: [ɦəɾᵊmən̪d̪əɾᵊ saːɦ(ɪ)bᵊ]), or the Darbār Sahib, (lit. ''exalted court'', [d̪əɾᵊbaːɾᵊ saːɦ(ɪ)bᵊ] or Suvaran Mandir) is a gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. It is the pre-eminent spiritual site of Sikhism. It is one of the holiest sites in Sikhism, alongside the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Kartarpur, and Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib.
Among the Sikhs, the dastār is an article of faith that represents equality, honour, self-respect, courage, spirituality, and piety. The Khalsa Sikh men and women, who keep the Five Ks, wear the turban to cover their long, uncut hair (kesh). The Sikhs regard the dastār as an important part of the unique Sikh identity.

Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurdwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe.

However, in Sikhism it’s about instilling humility and to realise no human is bigger than the other. We the humans are equal in all respects even if we possess great wealth. Own Great wealth is of no use if it cannot contribute in improving the life quality of fellow humans. Selfless service to humanity with humility is the biggest God’s worship.

Kay walking on the left is traditional. The wife is on right, and her husband has his right hand free to fight off any attacker and can be wielding a sword or any weapon or just use his bare hands to fight off the person who is attacking. Same is for the driving the driver sits on the right hand side, horse coach drivers sat on the right hand side to ward off and any attacks on the coach. Those days coach drivers were usually armed.
