I've been trying to leave for 3 years.. I've gotten so caught up in this relationship, feel like I'm a ping pong each time I become strong enough, it's only a matter of time before I become weak again.. @@Unknowntodayandtomorrow Try to marry that person and if that can't happen then follow these steps : 1)Pray 2 Rakats Nafil Prayer and ask Allah For Help. 2)Recite La Haula Wala Quwwata Illa Billah and Durud /Salaat On The Prophet. 3)Give charity and ask Allah's Forgiveness. 4) Try to Pray 5 times. 5) And keep yourself away from bad company and sins and try to be get yourself busy with good deeds or housework or sports or anything which is not a sin, so that you don't get time to chat or talk with that person. When you distance yourself, and you keep yourself away from the bad things, it will strengthen your heart and mind and make it easier for you. InshaAllah these things will definitely help you out.

Being a student of psychology would like to add some points . Exactly we are in this world to worship Allah not creation . Regarding haram relationships , make them halal by nikah or simply cut off , if other person is emotionally attached to you and it could effect their mental health and you can't marry them then discuss the matter and sought out the solution, be an acquaintance like a one Muslim to another Muslim/ Muslimah. Since Direction makes the thing halal or haram, just talking to opposite gender dosent make it haram,chat and romantic date does . This is general statement as everyone has different situations . We as a slave of Allah are here to worship Him and to be kind with His creation .rudeness is not a solution , we need to be selfless instead of being selfish . Allah is merciful and want this attribute in His creation too. I observe these kind of cases all around the world , people are in depression due to breakups etc , we can't ask everyone to don't indulge in haram relationships but we can produce solutions to reduce the depression.

What if you don't get chance to marry that person ? Who promised you tomorrow? With what face you will go there or you want her to go there? So it's better to end as fast as possible
