Tried to embarrass him and made him the star of the night. Then got angry and stormed out like a 2 year old. Don’t get upset when people try to call you out. Use it as an opportunity to shine, but stay above reproach. Your attitude in such situations will be how you get knighted when others put you in shackles.

Count Adhemar was a true knight. He left because he saw the party getting taken over by those below all those there.

Stumbled on this flick a couple of years ago on a slow slow rainy dreary Saturday afternoon. LOved it. The transition to Bowie's was totally unexpected and brilliant. I keep finding my way back to this particular segement. Heath was kool dude, and the the whole ensemble for this film really worked. As the cooler days transition from fall to wet dark winter Imma find this flick again, and pump up the volume when this segment hits. Then Imma launch into a Bowie music Binge.

Adamar should identify the fact that Jocelyn already shows interested in Ulrich and there is no point in trying. You are fighting an uphill battle when you try to win a fight thats already won. I like how innocent asking what colored Tunic people are wearing, basically is courting.

this ... the expressions on the faces of the 2 lead actors .. and how it all comes together ... moves me. At only 4 minutes in, my eyes well up and I will never tire of the beauty of these movements and how surprising the moment is, when it becomes clear, which song has been playing. This is magical. And I will never tire of watching it.

They were very good friends and actually played a couple again in another movie a few years after A knight's tale 😊 There are also some pap videos of them hanging out and leaving clubs together on youtube

@@leLIVREinterditI have that one as well, it’s called The Order, he plays a priest and she is his love interest, what a beautiful woman she was/is. Many people didn’t like the film, I enjoyed it, the fact that those two are in it makes up for the so-so script.

While all his roles were good and besides the praise for The Dark Knight, this truly was Heath's best movie, a hero's journey in the purest form. From a bottom rung nobody to virtual royalty through nothing but his own will, determination and loyalty that even a King had to recognize, all based on a short story The Hedge Knight.

The role yes. But Rufus Sewell no. For me, the sign of a good actor that he makes us angry at him because of his role and Sewell did it very good job. I remember watching an award winning Filipino actor who snuck inside a cinema and heard a lady cursing at him. He was not angry in fact he said, "I am honored that people are angry at me. It only proved that I did a good job with my role."

⁠@@imjeloAgreed 💯 Rufus did a phenomenal job, I too hate him in this film, a sign of a true thespian. I think Mr Sewell has been a fantastic actor through the years perhaps underrated, but very good actor.

Love the movie, but I would always chose the villin, the hero is great but he'd sacrifice you to save the world, the villian will sacrifice the world for you. Ride or Die.
