Ok so I don't like it, but this is just my two cents, take it or leave it. I much preferred the minimalism of the old style, this looks bizarrely childishly cartoonish by comparison- still completely valid as an art style for sure, but it's very different and it's not what I'm into at least. Them not having sunglasses especially makes them feel like totally different characters, or totally different interpretations of the characters. If this is the direction you want to take it great, but I'm not sure I'll be following the series unless the style seriously grows on me.

The new designs are good but it feels weird to see them without sunglasses and regular human eyes. It feels unnatural after so long There was also something comedic about the unexpressive nature of their faces. It made their quips and remarks more funny in a way.

The new designs are pretty damn good and this animation is really funny. However I feel like giving them some kind of a "show-off" accessory, (one for each), would both be a great call-back to their original designs and a way to characterize each owl better with visual information alone. I'd go: -Sunglasses for "Blue" since he's the leader and the actual cool guy of the group. Maybe he puts them on his forehead instead of actually wearing them? -Gold chain/Necklace for "Red" since he's the laid-back one that can actually be a massive prick if taunted. -Backward cap for "Goldie" because he's a kid trying to look cool but is too innocent for it. -(If you bring him back) Leather boots for that dark owl in "Sahara" since he's edgy. (Or maybe a Pharaoh's helmet?) -(If you bring them back) A sort of wide summer hat for "Pink" to give her the more feminine look out of the two and the most mature one as well while giving "Purple" a sort of tank-top with a flower on it or a jacket tied to her waist Drako style since she's the one more willing to get into fights. Anyway love seeing you back!

I just wanna say I'm a HUGE fan and I'm so glad to see a video back up. I heard about you when I was in TV production back in highschool, turns out you used to go to the same one as me (I won't mention it dw that's cringe to say) but I just love your videos and find it cool we went to the same place lol. The new designs are cool, and they'd probably work for new characters, but the simplicity and inexpressiveness of the originals was kinda part of the meme-y charm. Just two stick figure owls casually burning the world down and not giving a fuck. And because they never emote ever, whenever a character does start getting even a little expressive, it means a lot more. Because everyone's normally so expressionless, Gold's face changing as he got nervous and awkward around Red and Blue stood out a lot more. His dance was cool, obviously, but in a world with tons of cool dancing bird-people, him being the only one so nervous and awkward that he actually emotes to show it is what really made him stand out.
