as you can see on their website this sub is 750 rms. i know in the beginning it was confusing about the power rating, i have one along with a Paradyme pdr10, they sound great

Edgar Meyer!!!! I saw him perform solo many years ago and it was astonishing. I have so many albums with him. I just wish the Hop Skip and Wobble album would get released on vinyl.

@@thevinylattack Not sure how much you are into the “new acoustic”music. But for Edgar stuff I would definitely check out these albums…Skip, Hop and Wobble - Strength in Numbers - Short Trip Home - Appalachian Waltz - Uncommon Ritual - As We Speak. I love his playing and I think he uses a different tuning a lot of the time that’s different than the typical double bass.

Twice i have had a serious attempt at surround sound. With a respectable Yamaha processor. Suitable software and well positioned rear /side speakers. Each time I have uninstalled it after about a year. I just enjoy good 2 channel Stereo (including my REL stadium sub). Great video, Thanks.

The specs on their website state the frequency range of: 25Hz - 160 Hz.

I saw that as well, but that's not accurate. I found them elsewhere as well as talking with the Goldenear people. Hopefully they'll get on that before long.

Impressive for sure. However, I think they missed an important and damn near non-negotiable at this price point which is Phase Control and dialing it incrementally from 0-180 at the least. I say this because not everyone wants both subs up front in a parallel line. I suspect having them front and rear diagonally would cause phase issues and having 3-4 of them... Not good. Also, at this price point... Q settings would have been nice too. Thanks and great review. 👍🏼

Don’t modern receivers reconcile this phase issue? Fairly certain audyssey 32 has the ability.

2.1 channel setup with one sub, have heard multiple people say two is much better. I have absolutely nowhere to place another sub (without a divorce) and with a divorce I'd swap the room around, upsize to Cornwall IV'S and add that second sub!

Theyre actually 750watts rms. The xxl is 1000 watts rms and the forcefield 40 is 500 watts rms. All their numbers are wrong lol.

Would 2 of the sub x be to much in a 21-12 room with a 8 foot ceiling and I have the xl 3d sound bar and a pair of the super sat 3 for a 5.2 I am really into music and sound quality and home theater

If you're really into music and sound quality, take the money you'd spend on these two subs and start by replacing the sound bar. You'll be much happier. Then you can grab a pair of these later on.

I just have the sound bar now I got a deal in it but I really want the super sat 60 as left and right and the super sat 60c and two super sat 3 for a 5.2 with a Yamaha A6A or the Marantz cinema 40 don’t know what the best AVR is to use when I say I got a deal in the xl sound bar I paid 49.00 for it

Perhaps next time I'll just mention how much the speaker rumbles without any reference to music. After all, who cares about that anyway?
