Unfortunately, all of the people who were there the night Reeves died are all dead themselves. But Reeves' was involved in a shady relationship with Toni Mannix. Wife of a studio manager at MGM & allegedly had mobster ties. He broke off the relationship & started to see Lenore Lemon -- another questionable person. Lots of poor investigating by the police. I believe he was killed. Most baby boomers do. As far as his career? It was fine. He had made a film with Marlene Dietrich "Rancho Notorious" & two other feature films. One with Anne Baxter, & Burt Lancaster's "From Here To Eternity," during the time he was making the TV series "Superman." When he had a salary dispute with the studio they gave him a substantial raise. He returned to the series. So, he didn't have money problems. At the time of his death, George had another season to go on "Superman" -- it was extremely popular (7 years counting the pilot film from 1951). Reeves had made a live appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show playing the guitar & singing. He had talked about projects he had in the works or planned to do when "Superman" ended. It wasn't like he didn't know anyone in Hollywood.

Inaccuracies do not necessarily clickbait make. However it can make for lots of comments and over a half million views. Or it could be a simple mistake or two. Whatever.

Personally, I do not think fading fame leads some actors to take their own life, but reduced earnings and struggling to make ends meet can be a large contributor for MANY folks.

Seems drinking & depression were the major causes for most. To bad they never learned to not depend on outside sources insteadofdrinking or takingsubstances & seek help in dealing with depression & personal loss.

On the Brian Keith story, was wrongly pictured as Dennis Quad on the new, Parent Trap, not the first Parent Trap with Haley Mills.

I remember quite a few of these people from the films and it makes me very sad that they had such terrible endings to such talent. Charlton Heston did not ever give up or cause harm to himself. I think a lot of these cases are quite suspicious as to their outcomes.

Wrong person of The Parent Trap. Brian Keith was in the 1961 version, not the 1998 version shown with Dennis Quaid.

This really made me cry when I think of those tortured souls,I think if they had a terrible illness or personal tragedys no wonder they could not go on,sone with illnesses were forced to commit suicide and thats why I believe in assisted dying because why should we suffer an incurable illness if we want to be released from life. The ones who committed suicide for personal reasons is terrible as well they should of received more help, none of us can say that we havent felt that way maybe some have or havent through personal loss ,I know I have. But I came through the otherside, God Bless them.

I couldn't watch all of this. I'm just saddened by it. Even though it happened so many decades ago. Did they not have any true friends? Family who loved them? This is why education is terribly important for movie people. So they can have something else to work towards if they stop getting parts in film ❤. RIP.
