Hugging the correct walls and the strafe strategy really helped! And the black box was strictly RNG. It didn't spawn in that exact spot but it spawned to the left which caused me an extra second or two, but i managed to complete the level EXACTLY at 3:15! Thank you!!

Bullshit mission had 3.18 on my latest run, the flight recorder always spawns far for me, also I have trouble with going to meet janus, for some reason the army keeps coming for me while waiting at the statue...

Try doing a lap around the back of the statue, usually despawns the soldiers and spawns in Janus and his men. As for the recorder, it is kind of luck of the draw on where it ends up spawning in. This video shows probably the only place it spawns that you can pick it up and still make the time limit. So I'd say if the recorder doesn't spawn right down at the bottom of the hill, reload the level and try again.

So I'm doing a pretty close back and forth - left to right (didn't work properly when I got too far away) WHILST moving backward everytime I'm in front of him every so slightly. My controls are just default.

Indeed had a couple close runs before I got lucky with the flight recorder being in the best spawn in this run. I also didn't know about strafing and that would of helped cut a lot of time of too.

Yeah it's definitely been one of the tighter missions. I did however not employ a straf in this video oddly with all the back and forth. That would likely shave off 7-10 seconds. Hold a strong up and right whilst looking slightly left.

@@joew2450 you just gotta run as fast as possible. It helps to kite valentin out of the trailer as well, so you're a little bit closer to the next area. As soon as you're in the section with the Lenin statue, head right along the upper wall. It'll cut out all the obstacles. Kill one of the guards, grab his shotgun and then dip right out. Use the shotgun though it's pretty much a 1 hit kill
