No, not really. I need a better PC to get rid of all the FPS drops in GoldenEye. Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, my frame rate when I am recording will drop. Some games like GEX will run smoothly, others will stutter here and there, run smoothly but then drop overtime, or drops completely. I will make another comparison video when there's another weapon update. So hopefully the frame rate issue will be fixed by then.

@@NoobwithaBaseballBat I don't play for reals I might play to have fun, if you want realism go play Call of duty even though you have wolverine level healing abilities and your reload is so slow you can switch weapons faster than you can reload. Both of those were sarcastic expert reload way the fuck faster in the middle of combat. Also I don't even remember commenting this 3-year-old comment in the first place lol. But I see now oh boy it's perfect dark GoldenEye. I'm still eternally pissed we don't have GoldenEye xbla and I will die on that Hill

I wonder why the goldeneye weapons in perfect dark didn’t have actual reload animations. You could say it was to keep it accurate to goldeneye but I don’t think anybody liked that part of goldeneye.

I like the mod, but I don't understand why you're making the original look worse than it was. It had smooth textures, as did ALL games on the N64. And while the original had a somewhat iffy frame rate, it didn't sure as hell didn't stutter on the title screen.

Original rocket launcher looks better. You can actually see the rocket leave the gun whereas in "X" there's too much smoke.

How do you unlock the character selection in Goldeneye X?? I just got Goldeneye X on the N64 and I can't pick my character? I'm just stuck using Bond all the time! Do you have to do all the assignments??

Yea you do. It should be the same as Perfect Dark. You have to complete challenges in order to unlock characters and I think make custom weapon spawns. I thought it was challenges and missions but missions don't exist in GoldenEye X. On PC everything is already unlocked. But if you're saying you can only pick Bond period, and all the enemies are exactly the same, then you need to buy an expansion pak or insert an expansion pak if you already have one. GoldenEye X is a mod of Perfect Dark which means it's running in Perfect Dark's engine. So everything that you need in Perfect Dark, is the same with GoldenEye X, Perfect Dark requires an expansion pak. A KZbinr made a video talking about how Perfect Dark and a lot of N64 games that requires an expansion pack, doesn't actually need an expansion pack. "Why is it forced?" He doesn't know, Nintendo being Nintendo probably...or money.

Because I can only be Bond there's not even a character selection option to pick someone else, and yes all the enemies look exactly the same, I feel cheated because this game cost a lot too.

@@simonbelmont65 Yea that sounds like you need an expansion pak....but uhhhhhh GoldenEye X should be free unless they charged you for the cartridge which should be pocket change these days compared to the late 90s. It shouldn't be expensive at all.

@@simonbelmont65 expansion paks shouldn't be region locked if you accidentally bought a Japanese expansion pack. So you should be fine there. Just please don't buy anymore GoldenEye mods that you see.
