@@nickwpearce I throw a mine in between them and detonate it, I’ll upload a vid and send it to you, usually this route gets you between 1:25-1:35, but if you get a bit of luck with 006 and Doak you can get get sub 1:20

Great run! I also find blowing a mine behind the two guards standing behind the wall when you get into the lab area really helps (placing it about where the no-smoking sign is). Clears almost everyone from the corridor above you.

Great run. Back in the day I beat all the times for every level. It was great, I loved it. Now that I am older doing things like this in games is such an annoyance. I'll just beat any game now on the easiest settings.

Nice to see a variation on the usual method. Especially checking for dr doke there. with the first mine, i always stopped half way down the stairs and chucked it halfway between the bottom of the stairs and the door. still kills the 3 guys, also blows up the boxes for more ammo.

You don't have to rush, when in the long hallway with 3 guards look at the left window to see if he is on the landing up high, if not check the right room also for him if not hope he is in the final area in one of the three locations! Good luck you can get it!

This run wouldve been legendary if that first door didnt start to shut. And you stopped to kill some guys i think you couldve ignored. You barely got hit even! Nice run!

Did you record this independently or with xboxs built in "record that" feature? I got, what I consider anyways, a pretty good time in this level. I went to record the last 3 minutes just to make sure I caught it all but my clip came out all green 💀 couldnt even save screenshots

Yeah built in Xbox recording to am external hdd... Maybe check your recording settings, Dolby Vision, HDR, Maybe change to 1080p not 4K? See if that makes a difference?

@@nickwpearce I'll have a look again tonight definitely. it was a bit infuriating because I got a nice run and hit to record and got a green screen. I closed the game, reopened and got a similar cool run (nothing actually "good" if we compare to actual speedrunners but I enjoyed it lol) and it did the same again. I then booted up perfect dark zero *cough* and that recorded just fine so I was a little confused. If worse comes to worse, I've got me elgato in a box somewhere

@Jioyt Xbox recording is very poor. I can't even edit videos. Just trim them now. Try an external hdd, and select record now it will give you 1 hour at 1080p. Don't worry I imported a Japanese x360 for PD Zero... expensive waste of time lol 😆 Using the D Pad let's you strafe faster than the sticks allow for some reason.

Ya, seen that after I wrote this. Still can't beat this level for the code. The part where you're in the hallway with those three guards and throw the mine doesn't work for me. Somehow two always survive and almost kill me.

You can't access the higher difficulty until you beat the previous level So Agent will unlock Secret Agent, and Secret Agent unlocks 00 Agent.

I think it's impossible. I used the turbo cheat. But you cant use cheats to unlock other cheats. Even using turbo, it was so hard. My best time with the turbo cheat was 1:39

It is absolutely not impossible, use my guide or others and once you get to the second part shoot loudly and run past all guards Mine at the first remote door and in the hallway can shoot tanks at end if required. Practice on Agent once you get under 2 minutes Practice on Secret Agent and get under 2 minutes Then stick to 00 Agent, Doak does not have to be in the back room to get this.

​@@nickwpearceI actually just got it now! In 1:44! I screwed up the first time by detonating the mine where Alec was early, which killed him. What I found to be most useful was place mine at door where first console is to blow the enemies to hell so you can get inside and open the other door, get tons of ammo, shoot your way through and hope Doak is around the corner in the lab room.

Told ya! It was the hardest cheat to get back in the day, but once you know a couple of tricks and be confident you will get it! Well done! Let's pray they give us the Xbox 360 version one day! I have a full playthrough of that as well! It's official from Rare but never released!

@James Yeah it's not the best for aiming as they stuffed the lock option and I doubt they will fix it. But it's the closest thing to COD controls you can get really. Can quick detonate mines but you don't sprint as fast as the n64 version which is yet again another glitch I doubt they will fix

@@nickwpearce indeed, the first thing I noticed was how slow the strafing is with the standard move/strafe look/look and move/look definitely makes strafe running faster but whether or not it's as quick as the N64 i can't say. The setup i use is the standard layout customised with Y being back weapon select and the D pad being used for move/strafe when I want to strafe run. I can't say for sure it's as fast as move/strafe, but it's definitely a heap faster than analogue move/strafe as I was able to comfortably beat the streets target time with it (I failed so bad with analogue) How i managed to beat the target on Archives with analogue is beyond me, although I keep hearing that it's actually super easy once you have the route dialled in

Luck? No it's very easy to get this cheat, you don't even need to sprint fast. It seems difficult but it's really not

@@nickwpearce I tried this over 100 times and to no avail I’m shot dead as soon as I make it in the hallway before the first possible meeting with the scientist I’ve run this to a T with your video and it gets me nowhere….even switching things up and trying slight different methods 🙄

@@scottperkins7826 A lot of other videos to try get some ideas, the end part is simply run through I've seen some pretty average runs still get the cheat. A tip I used all those years ago; Play on Agent and try complete it in under 2 minutes Then try Secret Agent under 2 minutes Once you master SA, go to 00 Agent. Also if you are getting frustrated, take a break and relax go do something else and come back to it later
