Goldeneye (1995) featuring Timothy Dalton

I would have liked to see Timothy Dalton in Goldeneye.

Recently watch goldeneye, and saw just how much better the film would've benefitted with Dalton in the lead. I have nothing against Pierce, but I just rarely find him believable as Bond. Other than that, Dalton's just a much better actor, and he would've fit the "relic of cold war" role so much better. The M meeting would be excellent with Dench vs. Dalton. Plus, the films more emotional scenes like Trevelyan's reveal and the beach scene (the latter I think Pierce did really well in actually) would've been higher with Dalton. Too bad he did reprise the role, he's my favorite Bond and goldeneyes success might've made fans more fond of his role.

I'm agree. GoldenEye is a greatest Brice Brosnand film but this film could be better with Dalton. Tomothy Dalton was a great Bond actor, but his last film was quite different from 007 saga (Licence to Kill). The Living Daylights is a very great Bond movie.

The script for Dalton's Goldeneye was much different to the Brosnan Goldeneye. In Dalton's take Anthony Hopkins was supposed to be Bond mentor a M who had resigned from MI6 who went rogue. Who had a vendetta against MI6..It didn't have anything to do with satellites. But a much darker gritty tone..This story shaped up Craig's Skyfall.. But even if Dalton went along with Brosnan's script it would have been great. Him and Sean bean would have been epic.

Bisognerebbe usare deepfake su tutto il film e mettere Dalton al posto di Brosnan. Ci vorrebbe qualche fanedit or che sappia è possa farlo. Avremmo il terzo Bond di Dalton e sarebbe grandioso
