Absolutely awesome work in the remake! May I ask how much time you invested in this project? Big shoutout to the original composers Graeme Norgate, Grant Kirkhope, Robin Beanland !
@pedrokoury13525 жыл бұрын
I would like to ask you: 1. What DAW you used for this 2. Most importantly: what are YOUR inspirations (aside from the game's composers) 3. What are your best memories regarding this game? (Have you ever played it?) And finally: a big thanks for all of the research and the authenticity put into it. As it shows, you have put a lot of effort into making it sound as similar as possible to N64's original game, albeit still adding your own artistic inputs (like harmonies and gameplay sounds AND probably researching the best plugins/instruments), which I greatly admire. I really look up to your work!

@The One Who Laughs there's already been one, (on xbox? I think) Im not sure how well received it was. This soundtrack does it for me though as far as reflecting the original.

Man, adding in those low guitar chuggs in Dam makes it SOOO heavy and determined! Excellent.

Amazing. Thank you for making this. One of the most underrated videos on KZbin, how does this not have millions of views? You deserve a grammy

Amazing work, these songs are attached to my mind forever, they are indeed good OST tracks by any criteria in the gaming world. Phenomenal job man, nailed.

Kinda now want to see some sort of map based on Goldeneye 64 in Smash now. Especially since 64 Bond was once considered a candidate for the smash roster.

Probably the best reimagining of this ost ive ever heard. Stayed true to the original tunes, but added little tidbits here and there to make it distinguishable from the old school version. Well done!

Unbelievable! Such nostalgia. The Baron’s laugh in the Egyptian track caught me unawares; chills! Took me back to being a little kid when I had to leave the room whilst my brother played that level as I was so terrified of him!

Been listening to this all day. It keeps the vibe of the original but heavily upgrades the samples and bass. LOVE IT

Love how you gave these old favorites a new twist, while remaining true to the original. Very well done.

Archives and Streets has always been my favourites from the OST. You perfectly nail Streets with its powerful and martial military cadence, and determinated Bond theme

You've even got the watch beep in there for the pause music, that's just sublime. Tremendous work, clearly a labour of love.

This is incredible! You really nailed the introduction to Surface. The subtle bass and everything. I got chills like crazy when I heard that one.

Darkened Light Exactly. Me too. This is one of the most "obviously tense" pieces in the game. Or at least "prolonged/extended tense pieces" in the game. I like that you're into the subtle details. Never give up on those.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE REMAKES, I didn’t think it was possible to improve this perfect legendary ost, but ya did. My favourites are Dam, Facility, Silo, Frigate, Bunker #2, Street, Depot (epic snare drums + cymbals never gets old), Control , Caverns and Cradle
@monx5 жыл бұрын

yeah I know I'm old, but this game is going down in the hall of fame. It wasn't only SO great for its time; it legitimately still holds up WELL; better than most first person shooters on newer consoles, I would argue. This game is an absolute masterpiece.
@m4ssee4 жыл бұрын
I'm amazed how closely you managed to recreate some of the sounds like the creepy male choir in the title screen song and the sound what the I like to call "hitting a frying pan in an echo chamber". Also, the drums are slamming just like in the original. Great work!
@gizaha2 жыл бұрын
@K-Tech I personaly believe that this sfx is half of game's success. It's a unknown strange sound with reverb that fits perfectly in the game's (usually underground) stages and the Bond atmosphere / cold war / incomplete e - f# - g - f# loop. Also it repeats in a lot of tracks, a think i like in music (motif) and becomes recognizable.
@gizaha2 жыл бұрын
@K-Tech I knew that video but thanks! Also, tell me a music sample of a video game MUSIC track that remain in history and analyzed 20 years later, none! I put the word music in caps because a youtube smart-ass user will tell me about a sample of player sfx or something.
