Didn't really appreciate pre Brosnan Bond films until i heard the old commentaries featuring Duncan, no doubt he is a Bond expert.

I died laughing at Duncan's Brosnan impression of even diriter Bond titles. Great show guys! Btw, "From Russia With Love" and "Everything Or Nothing" on the GameCube were great Bond 3rd person shooter games. Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan provided the likenesses and voices for both of them.

Finally! Bond action on the channel lads lol. Nice to hear the Duncan and Partridge impressions again. I recently reviewed the HD GoldenEye footage myself, keep GE in the spotlight lads 👍

The whole deal with the dude disguised as Chuck Farrell during the theft of the Tiger, I think, is that its not Ourumov. It's Xenia's 'partner'. By this I mean its the dude with the ponytail and beard who tries to kosh Bond in the sauna and ends up getting a faceful of bucket. I don't think Ourumov would risk getting caught or recognized, as at this point he is still double dealing. Xenia and the partner man stole the Tiger, flew off to the Janus train base or wherever, and then Ourumov and Xenia went off to Severnaya later on. Thats my take on it. Also on a personal note, I'm still in my infancy of content creation and wanna thank you guys for inspiration and being cool. Already met Richard and would be great to meet with Duncan too one day. Heres hoping we can collaborate one day! Keep up the good work lads, all the best!

I agree with Duncan about the score; it's my biggest issue with Goldeneye. I remember seeing it on video and really disliking the music; it sounded so dated from the off (except for the title song of course). I wish they had used more of brass and strings in the orchestration instead of the synths. My favourite scene was always the tank chase; in large part because of the use of the classic Bond theme. I read last year that the producers brought in composer John Altman at the last minute to score the sequence as they were unhappy with Eric Serra's more downbeat version. I'd love a Director's Cut with a new, more classic score.

The Goldeneye Overture is the only actual good track on the Goldeneye soundtrack tbh. One of my favorite renditions of the James Bond theme and it's used really well in the scenes that it is accompanying too. It works.

Long story short, her name is now Aston Martin Submariner Walther Casey. They really dodged a bullet with that Natalya thing... Little weird about the potty training, though: Teaching her to say, "I need to Pee Pee, 'Kay." A bit too much, that.

Sorry I missed this live. Started to listen to it now great stuff I agree Duncan, Surrender is a great song. Also Shirley Bassey's song should have been used. So agree with Duncan with regard to DAF can't stand the film, Connery looks bored and out of shape, boring story and direction, feels cheap too imo. Easily imo the worse Bond movie. Please do more Bond content. Also and I know you did this on the other channel bit woikd love you both to do Star Trek movie commentaries 1-12 as cant get hold of them now. A Dark Fate commentary or watch party would be cool too.

It does amuse me that the main character is called 'John Sullivan' -i.e. the guy who wrote 'Only fools and horses'! Seriously, I like how when the future gets altered in that film, they have to deal with the consequences rather than just re-set everything back to normal like most time travel films [i.e. prevent the JFK assassination].
