Thanks for (some of) the comments guys haha! I am the jumping man, this video was a lot of fun to shoot, and painful! It has 6 cuts and took 13 hours! Each cut was filmed about 10 times! And yes, the fake smile was mostly to hide my breathing and shin splints!! Glad the video brings happiness to people! Hope you all have a great NYE!! x

I also have seen the original scene from Funny Girl, I felt that you did as qreat as Bobby Van. I'm sure that it was painful but to do. I believe the reason that Hugh Jackmams' reenactment failed was because they were not very familiar with the movie. No matter you and Jack keep entertaining us, your fans:-)

Dear George Foster a.k.a. "The Jumping Man". I was LOOKING for the cuts, figuring THERE HAD TO BE SOME....but as yet am uncertain where they reside. NO MATTER, the game is afoot, and that game does not detract IN THE LEAST from the happiness this video (and your determination) gives. YOUR EFFORT and the sure knowledge such a performance was NOT without pain..somehow..adds to my delight in that it INSPIRES me to, as I recently have began saying "GOGGINSing It": going beyond what I THINK is my BEST EFFORT: Pushing myself as I seek to regain the health and mobility which was so impaired for the THREE DECADES my mechanical problem was treated....ineptly. I pushed myself THEN, with constant weight-bearing pain, stopping only when I could not take another step....and I am so glad I did. I stayed lean and as strong as possible by seeing food as fuel (and pain as excess weight is pain in a weight bearing situation) and the dogged determination to not only endure...but to do so feeling happiness in my daily life. I reasoned, if I could FEEL genuine HAPPINESS despite the challenges, when EACH challenge/injury/obstacle was EVENTUALLY TRIUMPHED OVER...how HAPPY I would be!! AND IT IS TRUE. THIS video, and YOUR EFFORTS: the emotion of HAPPINESS which overwhelms the pain one knows you had to be feeling...IT BUOYS my SPIRITS. Please know I believe it helps others facing challenges in a way you might not believe possible...but it is true. I did not find this nine years ago...but I found it today...and I've added it to my "arsenal" of "mood elevators": as it genuinely makes me FEEL HAPPINESS. And MOTIVATES me to do more to help myself recover even more fully. THANK you.

This was my song for my dog Muffin... She died on Halloween (Oct 31st), aged 16. I had her since September 2004 when she was just 8 weeks old. She battled cancer for 20 months (after originally being given just 3 months to live)... She was my best friend, my family, the child I never had, and the therapy dog that helped me through severe depression when my partner of 12 years died suddenly in 2014. This song will always be ‘our song’. It’s now just been over a week since my little one died ... but through the tears and grief I only have to put this song on and it makes me remember the good times. The only song to snap me out of the sadness. For you Muffin... “Happiness”. 🐶🌈♥️🙏🏻
