1st celebrity I ever truly met and interacted with. I now work in film and television. However years prior met her and then later on once. Im 54. I was 19/20 'ish. This was 87/88 Beverly Hills at Polo by Ralph Lauren store: 2nd floor house stuff. I don't know how old she was the time you'll have to Google it. However, we were upstairs with three girls and my cousin and we were buying bedding. As we're walking around doing our thing my cousin is following this girl around and checking her out. One of the girls said that right there is jailbait, she's like 14 years old. And this girl is hearing our conversation about herself. Jailbait? I did not know what that meant back then. 20 minutes or so later we're ready to leave and we get on the elevator and that 14 year-old steps on with us. It's this 14-year-old girl and my cousin is still checking her out we're all shaking our heads at each other. We get to the bottom and we're ready to step off the girl too gets off, turns around to pick up her bags but she looks right at us and smiles. It *IS* Goldie Hawn and she gave us HER classic end of the movie smile before it fades to black & the credits roll. Long story longer; it was her. She looked like she was 13-14 from the rear and front. Tiny Tiny little thing. We end up over at Nate and Al's for lunch Goldie Hawn is sitting in the back with a couple other business types eating and actually reviewing a script. Sometime later she gets up and leaves with her people walked by our table and smiled at us. So sweet-so kind. About half hour or so later we're getting ready to leave. Waitress Louis (RIP 2021 COVID19) told us that Ms. Hawn had picked up our bill for lunch & tip plus bagels to go+smears. WOW. WOW WOW! However, long story longer; bumped into her many years later(2011?) and I blurted out that story to her. It came out all jumbled, fast, stupid; and she leaned in and kindly yet sarcastically said, " Oh how that's must be so nice for you?" Like I'm special needs! Then walked away. I felt like such a fool, but then she turned around and gave ME that classic elevator smile! She knew...She remembered everything! She has aged wonderfully. Yet that day and forever on she will always be 14 to me. FYI I saw Kate at a thing in 2017... I restrained myself from walking over and telling that story.

I think may have misunderstood your story a little. Goldie Hawn was the 14-year-old girl in an elevator in '87 or '88? Goldie Hawn was in her early forties back then. How did you mistake her for a 14-year-old?
