Songs like The Message and White Lines dealt with societal issues that affected many but later tunes spoke direct to some groups only, causing the division and poor lyrics. Thoughts?

Radio 4 Mark Steel's In Town brought me here. He was doing a show from Newport (some years ago BBC iPlayer) and had a couple of members of GLC on the show so I had to see what's on KZbin. So glad I did. These guys are brilliant. Also on the show was mentioned the Transport Bridge, the new Rail Station that locals are not entirely happy with, and Fanny's Cafe. So sad to hear that Fanny's had to close for financial reasons in 2023. Gutted. I wanted to go there. One day though, I must go shopping at Baneswell Express on the Baneswell Road.
