That was great, always looking forward to seeing your videos. I usually watch on my telly and cannot hit like nor message, so I have to have my phone close by. Cheers and thank you again.

Thank you for that comparison. I only just purchase my SDC 2300 and can’t get out to try it as we are still in lockdown 😡 I did some testing in the backyard with very small, up to medium sized lead sinkers. Your video was very informative for me so, many thanks 👍

Good work! learning to recognise those small target sounds from the variations in ground noise is so helpful. Thanks for watching 👍

Great video Mack,you should do one on the new coil you had on it to see the difference between standard coil and upgraded coil on the sdc2300

I would like to see a test in mineralised ground where you would be normally detecting. With the sdc. 👍

Good depth on all targets but not much difference in sensitivity. Disappointed with not much discrimination with bullet, shell, aluminum or nail. Still will spend a lot of time digging for trash. A lot of money for more work.

Most of the pulse induction machines don't offer much in the way of discrimination but when chasing gold nuggets it's best to dig all targets. Thank you for commenting & watching

The sensitivity settings probably come into much greater effect with the worse mineralised noisy ground. An air test isn't really able to demonstrate this to its intended purpose.

There is also heaps of variation in ground mineralization that burying a target in one location is completely different to another. It's just to give a good indication of depth in a consistent environment Thanks for contributing 👍 I love hearing other opinions helps the learning process

Seems like from 1 to 5 not much different mate
@GOLDMack4 жыл бұрын
There is not a huge difference only a couple of inches but on small gold it is really noticeable. Thanks for supporting mate

@@GOLDMack yea i got a monster but only gets pickers and not so deep, was thinkin about a sdc but $4grand so might get a gpx for $5 grand, was good to see the sdc test , thanks mate

@@SouthernCrossGO I would still consider an SDC now that there is more coil selection from Coiltek you can get even more depth. I have a video of the 11 inch coiltek on the SDC coming out soon. Thanks again for supporting

@@GOLDMack oh i didnt think you could change coils on them, i do like the sdc because of the way it folds up, more easy to transport
@markjohnson61304 жыл бұрын
I thought there was a big difference from 1 to 5, 50 to 75mm difference I thought especially on the smaller .8 gm nugget, I have both SDC and 5000 and I feel on sdc it goes at least 2 inch better on 5 setting but hell the bloody noisy threshold drives me nuts so I back off to 3 usually and then do the area again with 5000 for the deeps
