I so miss watching the shows. I went to several Gold and Treasure shows when they came to NC ….once in Concord …and once in Asheville years ago. I took my daughter, and Tom was a great person, and treated her like a child of his own. He signed her pink gold pan , that she has always cherished. He never treated anyone like a stranger, and my 7 yrs old daughter really loved that!

Yeah. The Democratic party here in Colorado absolutely despises Gold miners. And suppress the topic of "Gold" at All costs. Literally...

Met Tom Massie at on of the GPAA Gold shows in Phoenix az. I couldn't help but notice as my turn in line got closer and closer. He treats everyone like a friend, even if it's his first time meeting you. One of the nicest guys I've ever met and I'm 54.

I sure miss these shows. So sad the Massie's are no longer involved with, or producing them. So many fond memories of what once was...

Been a while, the massie family. My grand parents got me the buzzard deal, gold pan,patches, siphon bottle. The big sandy river in kentucky treated me right as a child.

I blew everybody away on our tour with my dowsing gold inside the Hidee Mine. Plan on going back and make KZbin videos dowsing gold inside and outside of Hidee Gold Mine.

I used to live in Rollinsville,CO in my younger days. About 6 miles down the road from Blackhawk/central city. Always wondered what it was like in those mines! Now I love in AZ and have been doing some gold hunting out here. Great vid!

WOW, I wondered why I haven't seen him in the few new GPAA videos I have watched. Was this another Coast to Cost situation?
@ManMountainMetals8 ай бұрын
He sold GPAA to someone named Brandon around 2018 and has been quietly living on the proceeds. Every Christmas, he donates 25 to 30k in scholarships to the Bering Straight Native Association, and that's all I could find on the guy.

Damn shame too…. Tom’s got the best personality and is great teacher. Super charismatic dude, definitely wasn’t afraid of the camera. He is a ton like his dad. Maybe someone fell ill and he decided to wrap it up to stay close to that person. Maybe they saw the way our country is going and decided to move back where Cindi is from. Either way, it’s a loss to the world, to not be able to go along with Tom and his family along their adventures.

The miners who mined that gold for those English investors were practically slaves. They didn’t make anywhere near enough to get ahead in life.
