Keeping on my toes with the 1985 Honda Goldwing GL1200, I tackle a crucial maintenance task: replacing and re-wiring the old 30A dog-bone fuse with a modern automotive inline fuse. The original dog-bone fuse left me stranded at the grocery store, which is a common issue for GL1200 owners. Before the bike completely died on me, I noticed symptoms of the coils and spark plug not getting enough voltage. At higher RPMs, the bike would miss and just didn't sound as healthy and smooth as it did post-repair.
