Thanks for your video, I saved it for future reference. It reminded me of working on Mercedes. If I have to do this I'll remove the coolant overflow bottle to gain access to plug and bolts.

Great video, although I concur with Chuck below, i will add that I wrap some electrical tape around the universal to take the wobble and frustration from getting into the hard spots. the flex will be just enough to snake the socket into the blind spots.

this method will not work on the ABS model because the ABS metal brake lines are in the way to use the long extension . I found a three inch extension and a short socket on a flex head long ratchet that you can guide onto the nut with a pencil style magnet works quite well . Both the quarter inch or three eights inch drive ratchets with the slim head will fit in .

A new tool has been invented to remove or install rear bolt from behind alternator. No tank or battery box removal required. Can even be torqued to specifications. Being manufactured, available soon. Very easy to use.

@@PaulS72Baby I have twelve sets so far. I have been renting them to 3 dealers who love them. The problem with sales is a patent is very expensive and insurance is outrageous. I am retired and keep busy in my hobby machine shop. I met a gentlemen with the money for a patent. Just need to iron out details. I will be posting a video on KZbin soon. Am busy getting my plasma cutter working.
