Pretty much. On a torquey FWD car with street tires launch control is almost useless. The tires will just spin. With some sticky tires it could be used.

You’re thinking of anti-lag which is different than a 2-step tune. Anti-lag simply put, is a system put in place so that your turbo is constantly spooled up. 2-step is like a 2nd rev limiter that holds a set RPM to get a good launch.

Welche Felgen/reifen grösse hast du? Es sieht so aus als wenn du hinten 15mm dicke distanzscheiben und vorne um die 10mm hattest :) Ich habe ein problem weil ich bei meinem 4er ein gewindefahrwerk verbaut habe und meine sommerrader vorne nicht reinbekomm ohne dass es tiefergelegt ist und der reifen die einstellringe nicht anfasst. Ich habe 18 zoll 8 zoll breite ET 35 mit 225/40 reifen drauf. Ich habe schon distanzscheiben in dicke 15mm fur hinten( mit mittenzentrierung) habe aber spater in papieren nachgelesen dass meine kombination nur bis 10mm erlaubt. ich weiss nicht ob ichs eingetragen bekomm. Entweder ja oder 215 reifen holen ...

Soooo schön!!! Hab bei mir den K04 aus dem Golf 6R drin. Muss unbedingt demnächst neue Pleuel und ein standfestes Getriebe haben, damit ich mit dem Turbo auch ordentlich arbeiten kann. Drückt aber schon jetzt 300PS und 407Nm bei einem Bar. Hast du vllt nen Plan, welches Getriebe da angebracht wäre? Ich liebäugel mit nem verstärkten 02M ausm Jubi, aber die sind soooo schwer zu bekommen.

Bei dem Drehmoment würde ich mindestens ein 02m verbauen, gibt es doch momentan recht günstig. Zusätzlich noch die Diffnieten durch Arp Schrauben ersetzen und evtl. noch auf Pilotlager umbauen und hoffen das der 4. Gang lange mitmacht!

Ryan Richardson it's running so rich, but for some reason which I think is from the air pump which sounds like a jet engine spooling up out of no where at a red light. When I go to get on the highway the car bombs up to 75mph in second gear in about 4.5-5 seconds. I have a video in my channel. But when I get off the highway or come to a stop the car will go do damn slow and it feels like the turbo is producing zero boost. But if I shut the engine if then turn it back on everything is fine again? I don't get it? Anybody have any suggestions? I'd appreciate it, thank you

***** sounds like your car is going into limp mode for some reason. And the jet engine sound is probably your SAI pump getting old. My 1.8t Jetta makes the same noise. I would get your SAI pump checked out because if it fails then the car will go into limp mode due to emissions.

i just guessing but downpipe, straight pipe with cat delete and then 2 step, tuned it, then hes running rich probably so you can take a paper clip size hole on one of your vac lines to make it run rich. but dont run it rich for more than a few hours.

Because of the delay of the ignition, fuel combusts inside the exaust, so there is no turbo lag, therefore the turbo is already pressurized after a quick reduction of speed, preety needed on a track or racing. Search for "als" or "2 step".

Man hört sich ja selber nie mit Vollgas wegfahren, ich dachte zuerst auch meiner sei "leise", hab mitlerweile MSD Attrappe und Sport ESD alles in 2,5" und der dröhnt schon ordentlich, wenn ich im Tunnel bis 6 drehe dann ist das schon gut laut. Jetzt noch Downpipe mit 200Zellen Kat und dann mal schauen ob das noch was am Klang verändert :D

Ahh, biste vonh Bull-X weg ? wollte mir schon so lange die MSD Atrappe davon holen aber war mir nie sicher obs das auch was bringt da der MSD von Bull-X sehr klein vom Durchmesser ist bei der 3" AGA .. hab ja auch ne downpipe , 200 Zellen drin ..
