Hi, Great Video! Apparently my G29’s Motor is stuck on the transaxle. Do you think I can do this service while the motor is still on the transaxle? I am sure the springs on the brushes would be the biggest headache if I try to do it without removing it. Also any tips on removing the stuck motor from the transaxle?

Thanks for your prompt response! All the bolts are out. The casing spins freely. I used all kinds angles to pull it out but it doesn’t budge. I am guessing it might have got moisture inside and rusted inside the transaxle where the motor connects. I am thinking of removing the casing and see if it is rusted at the connection point and go from there. I would appreciate if you could let me know if you think of any other method to get it off the transaxle.

@@daverhaci6369 ive never came across that. You may as well keep trying though , spray some penetrating lube or something in the direction of the shaft . You wont have room to slide the case off the armature sideways unless you remove the complete axle from the cart

@ I was able to get it off after 2 hours of constant prying in between the casing and the transaxle housing last night. It finally came apart. It was rusted bad inside. I put the bolts back on and left them loose . I used a small pry bar and bunch of metal plates to close the gap in between the lip of the housing and the casing. I kept prying by pushing on the bolts with the support of metal plates until I had enough space to insert my pry bar in between. Who ever does this job needs to put on safety glasses for sure. That carbon dust came out from the casing after the motor popped off the transaxle was all in my eye. You were absolutely right. That little motor was very heavy. It felt like benching 300 pounds while trying to put the motor on the ground. I will try to upload a video soon. Thank you for your encouraging comments!
