I had a Leon 184 (same as a GTD) and honestly it was an incredible car. Superb mpg and yet rapid off the mark. I really miss that car and whoever has it now has a very good car.

I got my GTD a remap and the DSG box done as well,it’s now at 226bhp and feels much smoother as well,the torque is decent enough as well for a daily driver. Great cars for daily driving and cruises on the motorway fine

Mine’s doesn’t bog down but it does wheelspin in first gear so i usually feather 1st then nail it in 2nd. Never done a draggy so no idea what times mine would do in a 0-60

The gearbox has a setting where torque is reduced in first which is why it bogs down. I removed this through coding and it makes a massive difference.

If you've ever experienced a GTD driver on the road, you'll know how they think they're in a fucking 812 Superfast. The GTI drivers are no where near as bad.

You won't be disappointed bud, 100% rest assured your car will be dealt with by knowledgeable skilled guys who can explain the details to you down to a T, yes you could maybe find a cheaper garage who'll bolt this that and the other onto your car but no knowledge of what the outcome will be couple days weeks down the line, me personally would rather pay for the experience and skills these lads have and the peace of mind all work has been done to best suit ya car and build desired.

I got 6.2 on my leon fr 184 but it’s dsg with a stage 1, I’d rather have a gti tho bcus of the noise also the fuel Isn’t as good as I expected it to be

Ive got an audi a6 2.0 ultra with a stage 1 plus remap It completely changed the car for the better, it feels like it should have had that extra 35bhp from new. 0 to 60 mph in approx 6.5 seconds

I have a GTD in manual, the 1st gear is a pain. Its never really impressed me though that much. I certainly wouidnt get 0-60 in under 7 seconds. And its stage 1

What's the impact on the clutch given its a manual with stage one tune? Won't it need replacing more quickly?

Depends on your driving, if you’re planting your foot from low revs or constantly doing launches, then it will not last long

would gutting the dpf make any difference with the bhp on the same map.

You can’t gut the dpf on a calibration that has been made to work with oem dpf and egr. Obviously with correct tuning and dpf delete it will gain even more from start to end👌
