Your recent video was discussing the right shoulder and the right hip closing in on each other in the down swing. This video is talking about the left (lead) rib cage going down and beating the belt buckle. So the rib cage move happens just before the right shoulder closes in on the right (trail) hip? Next video maybe discuss the melding of these two concepts, the syncing of these two moves. It is clear that the famous hip bump to the lead side drastically changes the hip plane unless you keep good flex in lead knee and keep the elevation of your trail side. Otherwise the hip plane flattens out and will yield topping the ball shots. Scott keeps his hip plane so as to hit down hill on the iron even though he transfers his weight forward.

Hey! Sometimes we need to do videos that fix separate problems. I have done a video on swinging more to the right for people who swing too far the left. I have done a video on swinging more to the left for people who swing too far to the right. Should you swing left or right? Which video is correct? Neither. It depends on what YOU are currently doing.. Same applies for this concept Should you get the ribcage more down and forward? Should you get the right shoulder down? IT all depends on what you are currently doing.

Golf is a game where a fraction of a inch can make a Huge difference. For me, trying to move my rib cage a little first inevitably leads to coming over the top. I have a hard time separating a shoulder turn from a rib cage turn. Again, it is a fraction of an inch difference, but if the downswing isn't exactly correct, I end up with a slice, sometimes not drastic sometimes very drastic. I like that shaft in the ground drill. It looks promising. Kevin O'Rourke

Hello Eric, great video..we were always told to stay behind the ball..This video clearly explains what your body should be doing and puts your body in a good position to cover the ball.. I like the detail that you put into your videos.I gives a clear understanding.

Eric in your slight move forward is your head going in front of the ball at impact? Should the head not be behind the ball, or it’s preferred behind the ball when using Driver? Thanks in advance for clarification .

Eric, Great video! For someone who really pops their left shoulder up too quickly, even with a driver, could you add a little of this to a driver swing?

Thanks for the video. Q: have you ever considered making a video about left vs right eye dominance and how that affects ball compression? Thanks.

Quality! Makes a lot of sense to me. Swear most my fat shots are a product of when I am conscious of trying to stay centred and probably don’t move enough.

All those hours of having a stick next to head, making sure I didn’t move off it or push it forward... made me always feel to rigid/stiff. This should be the catalyst to move a little more freely.

Really great stuff Eric. Is it correct to say that this is more of an upper body feel to get in the proper position to hit an iron? In other words, the hips would start first or is that incorrect and the rib cage movement actually leads(?) Thanks for all the great instruction.

In general terms-both going together.

I did a little research, but i have seen some as high as $2000, i would be looking for something that shows distance, and ball path?

Eric Cogorno Golf i saw the sc100 for $139, it does not show ball flight path, but swing speed, distance and smash factor. The comments are all positive, just looking for a pro perspective

THanks Eric, i ended up with the sc200 as prices are dropping on them. Your videos are awesome, have saved them all since i discovered them. Every time i am struggling with a portion of my swing, i revisit the appropriate video. Keep them coming, Happy Holidays
