Hi Mike, really great video. I am going to do this drill with right hand one iron club. My main problem is that at impact my trailing right foot is entirely on the ground. (yes shoulders and hips also square to target) I usually use my left leading hip to initiate my forward swing (no slide, more turn) The balls are going nice but I am not happy to see myself at impact the way it is...I know I need to release my right side...what would you recommend to me that I need to do? Thank you.

I notice at 6:17 the golfer's hand are not in front of the club head at impact. Is that right?

Glenn Watson, One of the general ideas of the video is that we need to transfer weight to our front foot so that the low-end of our swing takes place ahead of the ball (for iron shots). If our hands are behind the clubhead at impact, we will usually bottom out before we get to the ball.

@@glennwatson3313, you're correct. One of the major frustrations golfers face is trying to force their hands ahead of the ball at impact. Good impact position is more of an effect than a cause. If you watch Kevin at 10:28, you'll see that as he allows the club to swing with one hand (he's swinging on a much better arc, and more naturally allowing a weight shift onto his lead foot), his hand (handle of club) is in a better position than his original two-handed swing. For many golfers, swinging the club one handed helps them better internalize how the arc of the swing should feel, thus making many of the details we notice in the swing better.
