Having the same issue on my wife's '18 Alltrack. I removed the motor from the housing, turned fan to max and within 30 seconds it just stopped turning. Time for a new one. :( Thanks for taking the time to document the removal and installation.

What is the slight ticking noise at around 1:25? I have this random ticking in my car but no idea where its coming from. Only thing i know is it stops when i turn the hvac off

Do you have to disconnect battery before blower motor removal?

I recently replaced my blower again and used my own video to remember how to do it. After 3 months the new one is making the noise. DO NOT BUY the "UAC New HVAC Blower Motor BM 10047C - 5Q1819021E" from Amazon

19 Tiguan, fan rotates when testing, put it up into the hole, turn on AC, u can hear it getting power but doesn’t turn, no air flow. I don’t see or feel any blockages in there, what can it be?

Maybe there's some of the plastic or foam insulation blocking it? I don't know what it looks like on the Tiguan. Maybe also check the filter to see if it contacts the fan

Hi. Did you eventually find out what was the problem? I have Tiguan mk2 and when I turn fan for full speed I can barely feel any air coming out from the dash. It's even worse after long trip like yesterday. I can definitely hear blower working but the air is not coming out? Any idea?
