Golf R Full Carbon Engine Bay Completion

Master Mechanic Jamie of Rook Motorsports in Branford, CT was extremely meticulous with the installation of the RS3 ignition coils with NKG race spark plugs, APR air filter and the last piece of the carbon fiber in the engine bay; 034 carbon fiber battery cover.
The installed Items on the 2015 Golf R Mk7:
Red RS3 Ignition Coils
Torqued to 10nm

I'm curious if you used a standard ECS Tuning Engine cover with their badge and simply removed it for the APR emblem? If so, how did you get the badge off?

I used a blow dryer to heat up the sticker / glue and it pretty much came right off. Just enough time as you can start twisting it. Good luck.

How many KM's should pass before u should change the APR intake filter?

Not exactly sure but we check it every 6000 miles and I’ve only changed it once. Holds up very well.

R C engine bay not as good as yours I’ve worked on f1 and wrc where everything has to be perfect so just spotted it 😳
