Sports that are played on a field like football, tennis, golf, athletics etc can be equipped with tech covering that particular field, but how can you cover with tech the large surface of a big country like France? The best they can do now is tell us the power/watts of the riders or drone footage, but still the technology in cycling is limited compared to other sports.

I have golf + on quest 3 and it IS AMAZING! Highly recommend 👌 its all of this in one. Teaches you swings and different weights and greens. I never played real golf until i got it, now i play A LOT. When i went first time people were shocked when i said ive never played "real" golf. 😂

I work for the PGA Tour and am actually glad to see this. I wish i did this tournament again this year, but I've helped layout the shotlink towers to some camera assist work for featured groups to parab and sound work either on 18 or following a group for other tournaments, but everytime I'm still amazed by the technology being introduced to golf or learn new stuff evey week working with the tour.

The big thing that all this has done is introduce Strokes Gained data (Are you gaining or losing shots Vs the field on every individual shot). Every golfer can get that now too with things like shotscope etc. Golf tech has totally changed the game for elite amateur and professional golf. Great video!

@@Cesarlupercio It's more cause Marshalls don't just exist just for F1, most get into to it for wider motorsport which hardly makes any money but they're enthusiasts, they're the most trained hence why F1 uses them. It's like the holy grail to be picked for the F1 as it requires a certain level of training/experience. Most promoters do however give them free travel/accomodation/food, tickets, merch etc. The most experienced like British ones often get paid to marshall at other races abroad
