What MKBHD himself doesn’t realize just how powerful he has become, and that’s a good thing. For someone who doesn’t want that power, he handles it very well. MKBHD became immortal and entered the pantheon of the most powerful people in the world when Tim Cook quoted him on stage. The question I have for people bashing him is: should we always talk about the good but not the bad? What if he didn’t say anything about the car, and people ended up in a very bad accident, resulting in fatalities? Would we then say, ‘Oh, MKBHD should have reviewed that car and said something?
@DougWolfe9 ай бұрын
In particular, I enjoy his enthusiasm for what he does which is quite apart from the power he wields or the money he makes - both of which don’t really factor into his interests in the products he reviews or makes. He even talks about how there’s no magic number he would consider for selling his brand. It’s not about the money - it’s about the work he enjoys. That, in my mind, makes him a premium reviewer.
@doomy_doomy22259 ай бұрын
He does for sure. He is jump humble about it. The only time where he used his influence but in a modest way was during COVID and election time when he was encouraging people to vote and what not, but he never told you who to vote for. Stayed neutral.
@1meen16 ай бұрын
He's not necessarily the problem. It's his viewers, they're easily influenced and publications will run off with whatever he says. Not to say that other people weren't saying the same things, but MKBHD can make it extremely difficult for any non Tesla or Apple company. Also it's pretty ignorant to not know how much sway you have, it's pretty dangerous, like having a nuke button casually on your desk next to your mouse. You're also kinda doing the same thing, should people not criticize him? People should only praise him?

Thoroughly enjoyed this interview, watched every second and even jumped back a couple of times. - The style of the interview, Jon as the interviewer, and of course MKBHD as the interviewee. Really well done!

@@youshaei admittedly this was the first interview I’ve seen from your channel, but you best bet I’m taking a look at the others!

What I love about MKBHD is how natural he delivers his scripts. When you make something sounds like it almost has no script, it's when you get me hooked.

There are many awesome podcast episodes exploring a variety of subjects available on youtube, but I doubt I have ever watched one from beginning to end, sitting here, in anticipation of every next question and next answer. This is was an absolute refreshment. Gentlemen, well done.

So much respect for MKBHD. He's a man of morals, and he maintains the highest level of integrity, and professionalism. The way he explains and articulates is so easy to consume, and I think that's his magic sauce and what makes his videos the most influential.
