Hey mate, nice form! ☺ Regarding the golf swing I have watched some interesting video and read up on the mechanics of a golf swing. Particularly interested in the center of pressure in relation to the center of gravity. There's some correlation to riding a bicycle. there's this false narrative that has been in play for probably 50 years give or take. And it goes something like this; if you put your hands from the hoods into the drops you lower the center of gravity which is complete rubbish. The amount is so negligible it's not even going to be effective. So what I have concluded is that you can move the center of pressure on the bike in relation to the center of mass and center of gravity which is at your hips. You can't manipulate the center of gravity unless you use a dropper post or sit on the top tube. The thing about riding a road bike is its both static and dynamic at the same time. Your ass and your hips are mostly static on the saddle 90 95% of the time. The dynamic portion is obviously your arms and your legs and your head. Those only move or affect the center of pressure. Yet there are still so many idiots out there who will emphatically claim that dropping your hands into the drops lowers the center of gravity it's absolutely ridiculous 😃

Interesting read, Honestly I'm trying to get away from all the technical info these days and make it more natural again. I got coached at around 17 and told not to do something in the golf swing. and guess what all the pro's do it these days. So reading less doing more. Never thought golf and cycling had any cross over at all tbh, but I guess the CORE is important in both sports. you every played?
