Hi,it’s different then just swing.think that allot 35-55 golfers need allot more stretching ,been in shape and just be up to par physically .thats why iff no pain on 12 and on,that will have you play better,they say 2-3 mill woke a day that’s 5 strokes.thank you

Good points well made👍I’m a 5 hcap and Always struggle with the long par threes on my course (Wearside) especially the opening par 3 1st which is 188 yards to the middle with huge bunkers left and right. I’m always double and triple questioning my club selection and it’s always tough to hit a good longish iron for the very first shot of the day and with an audience. I watching despair as the mega handicaps usually hit a driver or a three wood and trundle it along on the ground onto the green every time🙀 I always feel under pressure to take a mid iron and hit the hero shot which inevitably misses left right or bunkers😾 Because I’m nervous and stab at it or have poor early tempo, so I’m going to try your suggestions of hitting a shorter iron in short and try to pull off the 2 pointer with a chip and putt close to the pin At the very least giving myself the chance of a one pointer. Either way somethings got to change👍

Short par 3s are my problem. Could use a pw playing at 125 hit the water short today, hit the water deep at 150 tomorrow or in the road to the right. Intimidation. Because 7-10 times any other hole 125 pw I’m on the green.

Hi,do not know iff it’s a mistake or a problem .its hard for me to comment to a club ,so end up taking under club and come out short ,in General.when do,try not to hit it full speed and end up with a bad shot ,long 3 the same .how do I go about it.thank you

Hitting the 7 iron there is much too conservative. Surely a short hybrid would be a ,such better play. Playing left and 20 yards further would still be a safe play.

Take enough club for yardage to the BACK of the green... not to the pin.... a good mishit will have likely good results...
