Second time Ive seen Ben interviewed recently. What a thoroughly nice and genuine chap Ben is. I remember when the mosquito hanglider power unit came out shortly followed by Bens Doodlebug, which was better designed for bivouac flying, I nearly bought one. Bought an Alize trike with solo 210 instead, which Ive still got. Looking forward to what Flylight have to offer in the future

Great interview. He was correct when he said "who has sore necks, back, knees?" My neck, back, knees are all still crunchy from my early Hang Gliding days. In the 70's & 80's, those wings were HEAVY. LOL

In a past life, I was a lift engineer. On one occasion, I had a job fitting a disabled access lift at Sywell aerodrome. I distinctly remember being thoroughly impressed by some of the microlight instructors flying their Dragonflys to work there. So much in fact, that I arranged to be taken up in one of the two seaters they used. Unfortunately, a dispute over payment for our lift resulted in me cancelling as it would have looked un professional we’re I to be seen flying and not working. I took all the paperwork home regarding training, but, I was too busy with that job to take it up.

Any thoughts, to trying the new Cosmos 300 from Vitto, on the newer Adam? Or would we limited in occordance with the law if a smaller wing was also to be tried speed wise. I weigh 215 lbs. Im pretty sure the 185 would be plenty. Had 9 Moster 185's since 2013, definitely know the engine well here in my school. Wondering if Ben would ship to the ole USA. Good show.
@GolfFoxtrot223 жыл бұрын
I know Ben has done some testing with the Cosmos but found it too thursty on fuel. . The PeaBee and Adam really don't need any more power and the max pilot weight is 110kgs. I know of a few machines in the US already so they do ship over there. Give them a buzz.
