I’ve played this course several times.. greens can be deceptive. I love watching you in California playing courses I’ve played! Thanks for the content, I’m enjoying it.

Feels like the last few videos you're breaking your wrist in your iron shots in your backswing. It's like a hitch or something back there kinda. I've seen you do it before, but more than normal I think lately. Love your videos keep up the good work.
@CooperRussell53 жыл бұрын
I’ve noticed that too, I think that’s what’s messing up his iron shots when he doesn’t flip them back to close the face, probably harder for him to hit a draw like that as well

Adding this to my list. Can you recommend a few courses in the Frisco area. Planning a trip as we speak

Did you get your new irons fitted? Curious because it seems like you'd need the lie angle adjusted to your swing a bit.
@NotAScratchGolfer3 жыл бұрын
You're bang on. I still need to get the lie angle adjusted a couple of degrees flat on these.

I play this course often, the greens are so big its easy to get on in reg and easy to have a bunch of there putts because of it.

40 putts is what killed you. I am not happy when I have 36 putts, so I can imagine how you are feeling about that many. But that is Golf, and those greens looked real tricky. Keep up the good work buddy.
@floydianepic32593 жыл бұрын
Well done Adam. Just a tip with those punch shots. With a longer iron, Narrow you stance more like if you were putting, shorten the club and use a chipping / pitching action just with more punch power. The ball will probably draw a little. You will be surprised how far the ball will go.
@NotAScratchGolfer3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I tend to tune out some of the coaching in the comments because I don't want to fill my head with too much. But this is definitely something I used to do with my punch shots with good results and in time I got away from it. Thanks again.

Adam: Honest question here I find myself wondering as I watch more and more of your excellent vids. It seems you are VERY close to BEING a scratch golfer. Would you ever consider getting serious instruction from a pro to tweak your swing for more consistency? Or are you content just figuring it out on your own? I suppose you would have to change the name of your channel if you did become a scratch golfer, lol. But you are soooo close and I think you'd get more enjoyment if you took that step
@rasmusbremerjensen5333 жыл бұрын
The horse shoe on hole 1 didnt exactly "circle the hole 360 degreees" did it? Probably more like half of that 😉 Thanks for very relateable golf content. Very much appreciated! 👍

You can't hit driver on 13. The risk reward isn't there. Just punch a 6 iron down the left side and hit a wedge.

why change the putter when it was one of your strengths? I don't know why golfers feel the need to change their clubs, it's not the clubs that make the mistakes lol.
@gsno76812 жыл бұрын
I'm new to the channel so not sure if this has been addressed in the past. Why haven't you worked at fixing some of the flaws in your swing that could be resulting in lack of distance and inconsistency? Or are you working on these things? Just curious as I'm sure anyone who loves golf wants to be the very best they can, and if you're going to be playing for the next couple decades might as well put the time in now to be your best.
