I just got fitted for GT3… just bought the TSR3 5 months ago 😅 I wouldn’t spend the money but I picked up 7-10 yds of carry and my dispersion improved drastically. Love the sound and feel too… interestingly, it actually sounds like my tsr hybrid with that muted sound and that same feeling of just socking the cover off the ball. Got the new 3 wood too! I think it’s all about confidence, and as you say, comfort level. 👍🏻 I find if I have any doubt about the shot I’m trying to make, usually ends with poor results. For example, if I really want to hit a high draw, but there are trees or OB on the left, I don’t commit to the shot (in my mind) and block it out to the right. Most of us have a go to shot. For me it’s a cut. For you it’s a draw. I think you did the right thing … the shot called for a fade, but you opted to hit the shot you KNOW you can hit (the draw) committed … confident. That’s the way to go. I mean, one should learn to hit an intentional draw or fade (BOTH shots) to get out of trouble, around a tree, etc., but … Must be 100% committed to the shot you’re trying to hit. Any doubt, and a mishit creeps in. As always, good stuff 👍🏻

Impressive opening T-shot with your new 3 wood and with range time your new driver will be great. You had your putting boots on today with those left to rights. My only concern with your game is that you miss a lot of greens with your approach shots, so once you tighten this, expect many under par rounds.

@GenevieveLingGolf4 ай бұрын
Why do you often need to hit a draw off the tee?
@KenH-ko1ce4 ай бұрын
@@GenevieveLingGolf Some of the courses I play have crazy slopes. You either hit a draw into the slope or wind up way right in deep rough. Also if the hole bends hard left it's much easier to hit the fairway if you can move the same way and you can get farther down it. Sometimes both of those things combine and then you better be able to move the ball that way.
@KenH-ko1ce4 ай бұрын
favoring a draw on irons makes life difficult IMHO. The ball comes in lower and hotter and is more difficult to place and stop - It wants to run. You really need soft greens. Cuts come in higher and softer and are easier to spin and stop

Just saying - Likely these people forget u need good techique n green reading than a stable head putter like df3 gets that extra % of keeping the start line with less face twist. Too often social golfers just dont spend time practising their short game n putting (this is 1 area anyone can be as good as any PGA pro if work is put into it) 😅
@GenevieveLingGolf4 ай бұрын
⬆️ i think that’s a big part of it. People see the reviews and content online and expect to literally hold every putt with a LAB putter. You still need to hit a good stroke, it jsut reduces the misses. Kind of like what a twist face is suppose to do for a driver. I also think it’s funny that in a video where I made quite a few putts someone still comments that the putter is not working. Conclusion, use whatever you like and feel works for you 😅
