I can hear the quality of your impact and it seems totally solid. For me the value of your videos is not the aesthetic of your swing or the attractive outfits which i acknowledge, but in the commentary. This would be most difficult i think to remember why you chose one strategy over another and to allow some sense of vulnerability by leaving yourself open to the haters. I love this because it serves as a reminder to slow down and think. Whatever skills i have are not changing in one round so i have to deal with that and apply them to best advantage. Watching you reminds me of that. Not sure that makes a lot of sense but i enjoy watching you play and feel i gain more than from all the swing theory creators. Please keep posting. Thank you

That was a very nice round, Gen. You got to apply things you've been working on, and try a thing or two for future use. All pretty positive. Proximity on approach is generally looking alot better too. You understand your misses and how to correct them. You barely missed 4 putts on the front nine, so you actually could have just as easily carded a 64 for that round. All in all, you should feel real good about it. Always a pleasure watching you talk us through your process, and I love the outfit too. Keep smiling while you're grinding, Gen!

The most important observation is once you are on the green the next putt is in the hole. You have to score on par 5 but that requires longer shots. But par 3s and 4s you have less room for error especially in LPGA tour. But great to see you do well on tour again soon.

@nastybadger-tn4kl22 күн бұрын
Also you can putt. Next real task is shallow swing. key is hip should lead but it should lead just. you cant separate too much. Idea behind is you want the body mass behind the ball so you can control that pitching wedge to pin point accuracy. lazy elegance. Been there and done that feel. I saw the PGA tour high light. They peppper the flag from 150 yards. Your plan is how to hit every shot 50% 75% 100% with wedge. Some time one club weight feel just right on that day. First master the swing. Next is having good caddy and plan. You can have back spin on some hole not on downslope. So able to remove backspin on pitching wedge some time required. In that time lift the ball high and land soft. My theory is that any one play tournament are extremely fit. So need to get obsessed with healthy food and remove toxins. Food science will help. I dont know what people eat to renergise them during roung. May be they all bring burger? Need to have meat food to have that muscle jump with joy.

If you want to be great player ..grow muscle on both wrists. Find a body builder trainer and get info on how to make super strong wrist. We always try to hide weakness with more weakness. if you have weak wrist in order to protect you will hit light and more issues it will create. Strong wrist means you control the trajectory

Lots of equipment changes? 🤷🏼♂️ L.A.B. Putter? Graphite shafts on your irons? … wedges? What’s going on, Gen? Most golfers, once they get comfortable with their set, make very few changes🤔 Love watching you play, but… What changes are you making? (“… seeing progress”) p.s. Are you playing a SIX-some? 😳 (13:30)
@nastybadger-tn4kl27 күн бұрын
Watched few of your videos now. Problems are irons. You are not getting good contact. You have to have shallow swing and use higher club and hit 80%. I mean create your own methodology that give you confidence. I think most of your problem is due to lack of confidence. You are close to real pro. Not sure you have distance with driver. if you get distance of top 20 player then you are ready in some ways You got 1. Good course management 2. Birdie making skill. ( you are a good putter.) . That is your strength from the way i see 3. You also dont show emotion , good or bad. That is very important. Missing 1. Need shallow swing 2. Short game ( you need to think how i can hole it not get close to it. Change your thinking. Work on it. Create a formula. Plan A and B) Have a stock shot for chipping that you can rely on 100% to land where you want to land the ball. 3. Dental implant. current shape teeth fall early when you reach 50. Better to fix now.

I want to see a Golf swing Master. I mean most can hit 100 ball straight. can u hit 1000 balls. Everything automatic. No standing infront of ball 1min collecting thoughts. You should know and hit ball in 1-2 sec max. Practice that. Everything is urgent. You have to decrease weakness , increase strength All you want is solid hit first. Then direction Then distance. I want to see shallow swing and solid hit. Oh we can see from swing whether its good hit or not. We can see the plane club moves. people are not here watch you birdie or eagle , what they are watching is SYMMETRY of swing. Our brain is obsessed with symmetry. its addictive.
@nastybadger-tn4kl27 күн бұрын
I comment on golf channel. I want to see people use Less energy but use body and gravity. Some how it translate to viewers addiction. I can watch linn grant swing all day. Another thing , cameron champ has near similar swing but he do not have the linn grant symmetry. She slap the ball. Lazy elegance
@nastybadger-tn4kl26 күн бұрын
You need to increase core power. Body power. Eat whole chicken a day and weight lift and be obsessive. I see 4 years your body has not changed. if you see LPGA those people are strong. You will be tired after 18 hole with your current body shape even if you eat burgers in middle of round.

I like your commentary on video. Swing? need more work. I always critique all golf video channel. Putting looks good. You just expecting too much break. I was seeing tiny below than what you aimed on all your putting stroke. Good camera work to show putting green to see breaks.

@@JTW3159 Not really We humans cant speak truth because we can never speak again. What is bigger than truth ? Nothing. So we humans can only speak lies. If a golf teach pin point what makes golf swing , can he make next video? What is there to talk about after first video So we humans are not in the business of telling the truth. What is truth in case of golf swing? Why people cant duplicate Linn Grant Swing? Even people have similar body ... Because center of gravity varies , Arm length varies. So each is on their own. But what is same for everyone is SWING Thoughts. Less thought you have better swing you will have. Golf is sequence of movements. Now there are many many golf channels if you want to get many ideas in pieces Watch wannagolf1633 Korean guy show swing in animated form and easy to understand it To have good golf swins you need few things Strong legs to allow you bend upper body as close to ball with small amount knee flex Because it helps turn faster Some bicep so you can lag in downswing. Half swing people are one who have balance issue. They cant over swing then they go out balance Now people always try to find a solution to symptoms Instead of source. You make one mistake and it add up and you are out In PGA tour, its same . One thing out of timing , they completely shank everything So you should groove your swing. Understand plane swing. Because its very simple Most people cant understand how to get into plane because Almost all golf videos teach wrong They show this ben hogan move. But he did not say one thing. As i said self sabotage not allowed, if everyone copy then you lose your advantage Golf swing is just base ball swing but its three dimensional It do not matter how your hands drop... by adjusting elbow you are in swing plane. That is the secret to golf swing. When you are in plane you just drop hands and dont worry about where ball is. Now how you hit the ball? You just stand on your knee in rotating chair and And try to swing flat You will adust your elbow to hit at the ball. Same thing when you drop hands Adjust elbow..you are in slot. Any height. This is magic move of fred couples and jack nikalous They call it flying elbow For me its dynamic elbow. its instant slot. First move is load up up by let club pressure your hand As hands drop and your are turning (knees and tilting shoulder you can get into slot at any level by being conscious of elbow. You are not bringing club down... Your hand become passive. club fall on gravity as it come in to hitting zone you hit like you walking The idea is that hit with body Now dont worry about speed Practice with 7 iron. 20 yards. get the feel and imbue into body Then release the monster like Linn grant does. Because your are not swinging with your arms are gripping club tight with hands less injury can happen if you even hit the ground hards Also club is coming from side not front Meaning right hand attached to body in one direction. You are reaching ball with right shoulder tilt I put title of some of wannagolf1633 videos
@nastybadger-tn4kl27 күн бұрын
@@JTW3159 watch wanna1633 channel. its some korean channel but he shows it visually. The thing about golf swing is that its lots of sequence. if you do first thing wrong everything will be wrong. 1. Posture . Your center of gravity is from , need to have knee bend so rotation is easy not stuck or swing with hands. 2. Left arm always touches left chest. even during impact but not possible because we humans are not robots. but get as much 3. Downswing your hands should feel club weight meaning your grip such that people can pull the club out easily 4. Hands fall into slot position. This is secret move. its done by elbow. Fred couples and jack has them 5. If you get to slot position instantly all you have to do is swing through and ignore rest 6. Hands will do nothing in downswing except falling , it wont drag the club to hit but club will fall through slot. Most amateur try to swing with hands , Especially Men but They work differently. They try to transfer mass behind ball .Like hammer hitting the ball if tall player have linn grant swing they can hit 400+ yard drives comfortably. Hand deaccelerate the club so hands should not play a role but its just keep the club in plane and also dont let twist during impact.
