Absolutely love the Island. Have played three times and each time I have been received so warmly. Have had many pints pre round in that clubhouse. What a gem.

I've never experienced golf snobbery like I did the day I played The Island from some of the members. I never went back but its a seriously good course. Really tough

The public links right next door called corballis is a much better, funky place to play golf.
