Great video. The graphics are coming. This is the 1st gen. They’re going to continue to get better. Great 3d grass. Great idea about the remaining distance once you click the aiming marker and the OB lines. The sounds, physics and looks are going to get better. Overall great video 👍🏼

Great video. Graphics look great to me. The on demand is what's going to sell this product IMO. Wonder if there's a course we all can recognize that you could demo that's not in their pre made courses so we can get a good look at the quality of the on demand stuff. Maybe something like Whistling Straits or Pine Valley in NJ

The graphics looks great! The ocean, the moving shadows from trees, The backdrops. Th e user interface can perhaps use some polish. Speaking of that, can e6 apex run in a 4:3 aspect ratio? And if so, how dows the user interface look then. The data tiles, the map and other things on the screen is pretty large so it would be interesting to see how it looks in a 4:3 ratio. Many sim users use this ratio, me included.

I have not tried other aspects but I am sure it can. The data tiles can be swapped and I would assume they shrink/adjust on 4:3. Maybe I can test that and force the resolution on my sim and report back. Thanks for watching and asking!

I agree I like to see lie penalty displayed as a percentage before the shot is played as you can identify lies in real life. However I’d like it to show a range of percentage (ex: 10%-20%) so you can’t just simply calculate the new yardage based on the exact percentage given. I’m fine with a specific spin reduction percentage given as spin is a dynamic number but a reduction in yardage that can easily be calculated kind of defeats the purpose.

They’re going to offer various versions of subscription. There’s $150 year version. That’s the practice ranges along with bag mapping, challenges, and fitting. Then they have a $300 per year version. That’s all of the courses, but none of the practice features and modules. Then there is the full version, including all of the practice features and modules along with all of the courses and that’s going to be 450 per year. Then if you want to keep E6 Connect the $300 per year version of that will include the practice version of Apex but if you wanna have everything for E6 and everything for Apex then it’s $600 per year.

I see how the software takes into account up hill & downhill to the flag on the approach shots but does it consider the lie of the ball in the fairway or rough. If it's on a side hill lie for instance so maybe the ball is on a down hill sloped left lie do you have to adjust the aim etc. to take into account the lie? Or do you play the lie in fairways or rough like it's always perfectly flat even though its obviously not? I couldn't see anything displayed that I noticed that would indicate one way or another. Great video & awesome driver ball speed!

I also had noticed that there was no lie angle showing. You can’t play it with everything being perfectly flat. Would be very unrealistic. As far as the graphics, it does look fantastic. Some angles look real. Looks very well done. Will be interested to hear back about lie angle though.

Can you change the graphical settings? I know the min recommended video card is what it is but I am so far able to run the practice range with a Geforce GTX 1060 Max Q which is well below recommended but it works fine at the moment. I am hoping I can run it in some capacity.

Hey, are you seeing shadows on your video card? I have a Geforce 3050ti and don't see shadows, this was a couple of months ago when I last tested it. Hopefully this gets fixed for my graphics card.

I am unsure of that, Apogee shows it's replay and I would assume they would only have that for their own native hardware as a value for it, but can ask.

I’m a sucker for pretty graphics but it’s going to take something special to get me away from GSPro, due to ball physics, courses and pricing. I wonder if GSPro will move to new graphics engine soon to compete with Apex and Trackman software?

I love graphics as well but I still put physics first usually. I think all the platforms seem to be pretty unique right now. Especially unity vs unreal. I would assume all of them will continue. Find tweaking features and solely improving graphics, trying not to advance too fast to force everyone to get expensive graphic cards. It’s all a balance I think. I will see graphics, however, are very personal preference driven. It’s funny how many people say. One is better than the other. I think you could start a massive argument. If you took 100 avid SIM golfers that played different platforms and put them in a room. :-)

Hey , what is your computer specs? I have an acer laptop with an Nvidia 3050ti and am having problems with no shadows cast from the trees which sort of destroys the look of the course. This was a couple of months ago when I last tested it. I am hoping they added support for more graphics cards. If you have any info .... Thanks

Mine is overboard lol. RTX 4090 and latest gen i9 with 128GB ram. You need a 3060 with 12GB ram minimum is what they are stating for specs.

Hey , got the Apex running but have a question. Do you know how to Add a player(2nd or 3rd player) to a round of golf that is physically with you in your simulator. I can Add an online player who has an Apex account Login with email and password. In e6 connect it was very easy to add a guest player. Note: I can't actually connect the Apex software to the Garmin R10? Is there any other R10 users in the same boat.

Was looking to play Teeth of the Dog when I was in the DR back in 2018 but they closed the course 2 days before we arrived to get it ready for a Sr Tour event. We ended up playing another course but it was inland with no ocean holes. Huge disappointment.

So I already suggested they offer to turn the gimmie sound and raised lighting off and sounds like they are working on it. Feel too video game to me for sure. Im running i9 with 4070ti super an these graphics aren't much better than e6 Connect to me on a high def impact screen. I might be doing something wrong but I can see an read everything when I play e6 connect. Also 4k content from you-tube looks better than Apex. Looks like I have zero control over the graphics.

Impossible to say, software is always personal preference. People are going to have their own opinion for sure. Everyday someone is saying why one is better than the other, so rather than trying to push my opinion I show them all and let people try and get their own gauge of graphics and physics, etc. :) Hope that makes sense!
