On a serious note he does make a good point. This modern phenomenon of curbing, limiting and blaming everything on farmers needs to stop. Its ridiculous. The focus on environment should be addressing the pressure that a world population that has LITERALLY doubled since 1972 has done to the environment. All farmers are doing is trying to keep them fed.

Agreed! And the mad thing about us limiting our population is that the average age goes up. We get older! And their solution to that is to import people. Well wouldnt it have made sense to make our own? Filthy dirty topic but it has to be said!

Agreed, but to be fair, standard agricultural practices kind of suck. Implementing some basic practices like cover cropping would be better for the environment, the food supply, and make farming more profitable for farmers. I’ve seen it. Farmers with more regenerative practices are growing crops with no fertilizer, less equipment, less water, reduced pesticides, all while getting higher yields and reducing feed costs for their livestock.
