:D yeah, match 4 looks like a very similar brew. it s just very good against the (mono black) discard decks with baloth and tear asunder.

it s very good against aggro too. much better than i thought, because compared to shelly you get the 4 life immediatly. i played 4 but later switched to 3 for another Aclazotz.

hi pinky, nice to see you re doing fine :) i was also quite busy lately and didn t had much time to do vids. it s very good against the most usual meta decks you see (discard, (red) -aggro, azorius control) and can handle many other strategies too. it might be the most versatile deck i ever did since i m doing yt. have fun & thanks for support :)

Okay, after playing 20 unranked games now, i have a winrate of 70%. My favorite match was against UW Control. (Usually having big problems in beating control) I felt like I myself was the control player there. I let them spend all their counterspells for Sheoldred and other useless creatures until i could resolve Liliana. Then i let them sac. :D ez

hi, you can add another baloth, tear asunder, if you have 1-2 phyrexian arena, 2x ruthless negotiaion, 1-2 hostile investigator, gix,... good luck and let me know how it works :)

In game 1, there seemed like a couple of turns you could have attacked with glissa and destroyed the urabrask enchantment. Is there a reason to hold her back that I missed? Love grindy golgari decks like this, great vid!

As someone who only has enough wildcards to craft 1-2 of each mythic, what would you recommend to prioritize and are there any decent alternatives for them? Love the list!

hi, this is really difficult for this deck, sorry. i suggest to go for 2-3 shellys and 2-3 lilis, 3 preacher and 2 glissa and 2 Aclazotz. you can add another baloth, tear asunder, if you have 1-2 phyrexian arena, 2x ruthless negotiaion, 1-2 hostile investigator,... good luck and let me know wha you changed and how good it sill is :)

What makes the deck anti-control? Disfigure, Go for the Throat and Baloth are all poor in the matchup. With 11 near dead cards, plus other threats that are easily handled with spot removal, this deck looks like a breeze for all Control decks to handle.

I think it's partly the discard side of the deck. It can keep opponent from having card advantage. Removal can be worth gold against Restless Anchorage: Due to Disfigure i was able to ult my Liliana, even if it didn't kill the Anchorage. And because opp had (surprise!) almost nothing on board, he had to sac half his landbase ^^ But yeah, 11 dead cards is bad against control, but you can feed them to Lili without pain and Tear Assunder can at least be used for a Lockdown or even a planeswalker. Baloth is not great in the matchup, but its still a 5 turn clock. And because it's almost a vanilla creature, it may be underestimated and not getting countered. I think it is the whole package. You can minimize opps hand a bit and kind of always have a threat to play. If it gets countered or removed, the next one is on the way to keep opp busy. I had the feeling of having zero time pressure in the matchup. My threats being countered or spotremoved where just 1for1s without opp having card advantage. I was like "My time will come, when you run out of counterspells". Not to speak of the Restless Cottage. Just my thoughts about this deck and i only had this one matchup against control, which went ridiculously well.

why the disfigure though? a couple of cut down and a couple glistening deluge work better for me against all the rabbit/otter decks. I run some in my massacre girl deck for the obvious interaction.

I think we'll be seeing more rabbits, but the target for disfigure is red fling. It often ends the game on turn three, so point removal is more effective and the point of disfigure is to debuff its death triggers.

@@edibleballbearings This. For the current meta disfigure is better in most situations. It works very good with the Preacher of Schism too.
