I've been on the Goliath. It's so scary and when I went on it, I got this horrible feeling in my stomach, I hated it, I was saying in my mind, "End the ride, end the ride, end the ride!" It was finally done and I was literally breathing so hard after that ride, it was so intense!

I call this ride a mini hyper. It's the B&M hypercoaster model, but isn't 200 feet tall. I think it does what it's designed to do and that's to provide lots of floater airtime. Still a fun ride, even if its not on the level of the other B&M hypers in North America. I also think this ride was intended to have Superman theming based on the colors. Six Flags may have been trying to make La Ronde a branded Six Flags park around 2006 when this was built. Their batman clone was already in Batman colors, and around that time, Cobra, the now defunct Intamin standup, was painted green, which would've worked with a Riddler's Revenge theme. I think what prevented that from happening was both budget cuts on the corporate level, and the fact that all the DC Comics names are in English, and it would be required that they be translated to French.

souvent quand j’y allait à la ronde il y avait tellement peu de monde que j’était dans le goliath en 2 minutes même parfois du premier coup quand j’arrivais dans la file d’attente je rentrais dans le manège direct et je trouve que le manège est plus effrayant dans la vrai vie la dessus ca a l’air petit mais avant de le fair pour la première fois ont à l’impression que ça va fair vrm peur mais après la première descente c’est que du plaisir

Has anyone noticed that La Ronde calls this ride a hypercoaster? As someone who has quite a bit of knowledge on coasters, a hypercoaster is a coaster 200 feet or taller, or at least WITH a drop 200 feet or taller. And neither the height or drop are 200 feet or taller on this ride, so therefore (*looking at La Ronde*) it isn’t a hypercoaster.

They are all or were Six Flags parks. The only one that isn't in the chain is Goliath at Walibi World. But, that park was in the Six Flags chain. ;)

Nah the airtime is stronger on this one especially towards the end. Behemoth has trims everywhere and Goliath only has one and its not always on. You know height and speed doesn't mean better ride

Not really, the one in New England (formally Deja Vu) is actually the largest boomerang coaster in the world, it is a giant inverted boomerang with the lift hills being almost 200 feet tall. Only 5 of them in the world.

Oh my gosh I made it when I was in vacancy in Montreal. It's sooo scary but I liked it. The line was veery long. I did it the night, then when I was in the highest points, I could see Montreal the night and that was beautiful

this is my list to scary to less scary roller coasters : 1- goliath ( I hate having butterflies in my stomach 😢😡😯😠) 2- le vampire 3- le monstre 4- cobra 5- ednör ( very close to number 4 ) 6- the boomerang 7- le grand manège tell me if I missed one some people consider a strong roller coaster when it shakes a lot and you get hurt other people ( me ) when it goes down a lot and you get butterflies other people when the roller coaster turns and puts you upside down , others when it goes fast and others when the roller coaster is tall etc.....
