Wow, it looks totally accurate. You went on with passion! It shows. What a noisy bugger, I guess that is accurate too.

I just finished 3D detailed model of Goliath Sd. Kfz. 302. I used the base of about 30 photos, some of which were on this replica, thinking it was authentic... Anyway, I love this widget.

Fantastic work on the replica! I've always wondered why someone thought this was a good design, though. If the unit was only meant to travel a few hundred yards before detonating, why make it out of such premium materials? The tracks might as well just be made out of something cheaper, like a band of leather or thick fabric, which would be more silent for sneaking up on a tank.

Think about that for a second. Sneaking up on a tank. Do you think anyone in a tank is going to hear a goliath?
@Minty133720 күн бұрын
i feel like there's a few reason for that, first of all German ideology at the time meant that most things are extremely overbuilt since they reward quality over efficiency. however even if they were completely utilitarian, i feel like leather or fabric straps would get caught and jammed in the wheels and gears, they may have even tried that and found out it's too unreliable. but yea, to me this seems like a far too difficult and expensive way to take out a tank, especially when grenades and RPGs existed for a while by that point. however does this count as the first instance of drone warfare? lol

Hallo, Ein hervorragendes Projekt!
