Frank Sutton, RIP, passed away from a heart attack at the tender age of 50. I always wondered if somehow his health was adversely affected by his character's being intensely infuriated by Gomer Pyle year after year.

Yeah , I found that out just a few months back about Frank Sutton he was the real deal playing the role as Sargent Carter in that great series , it was very sad of his early passing at 50 . Rip Frank Sutton .
