Oddly enough except for a few newer buildings and cars it looks amazingly the same!! Thanks, I have always wanted to live in California and become a star(61 now and still on the east coast). Nice work.

Wow awesome job. I never saw this show but remember hearing my father reference Gomer Pyle sometimes but I never knew who the character was. Love those 60's cars. I know at 6:54 that's a 64 Impala my father's favorite car. Looks like a red Corvair beside it.

This was a show that did not film out of the studio much, so on scene filming was rare. Even more impressive is know the locations and imagine you have had to have been an insider to know these places.

Fascinating stuff. Especially seeing the newly planted tree grown at the grocery store. Certainly you (or someone you know) had something do with off-studio filming locations as it would be impossible to “determine” what was where. Especially as they rarely filmed off-base (or ugh, studio). Great job.

You're probably right, it's strategically placed there so Gomer can walk out of the booth, and head right into the awaiting Boy Scouts. I like the original Brick Planter.
