But damn..the English are much more sensitive and connected than they let on...maybe that is their secret magic? That in comedy and music they show their true selves? God bless them then

Could you please tell me more about it? About that season of your life.
@shanelong93143 жыл бұрын
@@imt3206 unfortunately I don't think I could properly describe it but I will try. Was around the age of 15. A standout point for me in the movie is the part where one of the characters and his partner are watching plastic bags float through the wind and it brings him to tears....he sees beauty in things that probably seem like nothing to anyone else. So anyway I remember how I would see similar things that were actually nothing, like the way a street light shined at night and the picture it made in my mind and I would think it was so so beautiful. It was just like the best feeling being able to see beauty in things. It was overwhelming. Anyway whenever I think about this movie and song it takes me back to how my mind worked at the time and I miss that.

Top live band. Bens got a hell of a voice and Bring it On was so different to the arse end of “ Brit Pop” in 98. Tijuana Lady, Whipping Piccadilly, Get Miles and Get Myself arrested my pick off there but not a bad track on it. This is the best tune off Liquid Skin I’d say along with Rhythm and Blues Alibi and Devil Will Ride. Not a patch on debut album.

Check out ‘Get myself arrested’. It was one of my brothers favourite songs, he was a huge fan of Gomez. Sadly he killed himself the night before his 27th birthday. Throughout our teenage years he always told me he wouldn’t live to be 27. I had no idea he would take that so seriously. He was in a bad place. He had a monster for a wife. A violent, psychopathic narcissist. He had a child with this ‘woman’, and he had a very high powered, demanding job that’s required him to fly business class to the all of the state capitals of Australia regularly and take on six mont to one year tours in outback towns all over Australia. At the same time he was battling chronic depression, he was drinking way too much and he was taking drugs; illicit and prescription. He had a fight with his wife one night. It wasn’t a particularly bad one by their standards she hadn’t stabbed him with scissors (as she had done many times before), she hadn’t hit him with a lamp or anything. She just left. He asked her to leave so she got the baby and left. He hanged himself. Thankfully the police were called to do a welfare check and found him so no one in the family had to see him hanging. His widow was so crazy and violent. She attacked my sister and literally bit a huge chunk if flesh from my sisters arm. She had to have reconstructive plastic surgery. The woman tried to stop us from seeing Rods daughter. She failed. We had access to her. However her mother poisoned her against us and as soon as she was sixteen she stopped all communication. I used to love that girl but if that’s how she wants to play it then she’s dead to me now.

Djalma Reis thank you for your concern. I still suffer from grief, it never goes away but you learn to live with it. That woman is a genuine psychopath. I wish my brother had never married her. She’s as rough as a stray cat. She has three kids all by different fathers. She is a monster. She has caused serious harm to my family. If she was a man I’d have probably killed her in a fight. I shouldn’t say that, I know it makes me look bad. I’m just being honest.
