Yeah, I was a tiny bit disappointed in how reserved and "corporate" it felt when some other holomem were discussing Ame leaving, like Calli and Ina. You can tell they were sad, but it seems like they had made peace with it a while ago and they put too much emphasis on being careful with their words, to the point where their comments were ultimately vague and unfulfilling. Kiara gave me exactly what I needed.

@@wisdumcube Eh, I didn't really feel like Ina's explanation was that "corporate" as a fan of hers, so much as...well, Ina is known for her leaky ceilings but I can see why with how long it seems they've known about this that she'd be in a place now where she's already finished mopping those leaks up and is just trying to support the fans in her own way? By focusing on the hopeful aspects and trying to stay positive and upbeat about it all, that is more the style of comfort she tends towards anyways? I mean, that's the reason why each of the Myth members have different fanbases in the first place though. Kiara's always been the most direct with her feelings in a way that can be comforting to people who need those feelings validated by the shared experience, while others of us are more in need of a calming voice telling us that things are going to be okay. Honestly I don't really feel like Kiara was really any less vague on what any of this really even means, even if her hopes were perhaps more specific to a vision of the future that Hololive fans are hoping for as well, especially since uh Pretty Cure collab movie references aren't as clear cut for an English speaking audience? If anything, watching all three so far (and I don't really expect will get a Gura edition with how infrequently she's streaming) mostly just shows that none of them really knows either and therefore can't really do anything more than guess...and hope for the best.

It’s even more sad because Kiara earlier this year was talking about how she envied Advent and how it reminded her of when myth debuted. It was just them so they had so many collabs and spent so much time together. But as the branch grew larger more connections formed and they all got so busy and barely had time to do stuff together like in the past. It just hurts knowing that it will never be the same again, but that’s just the reality of it, nothing last forever.

Honestly, Myth *_4_* Ever was really fitting, with Ame departing at the end of September. I wouldn't be surprised if that made Ame laugh a little to herself. I've watched Cali since the beginning and that was definitely her being emotional. When she is processing something she often goes to that distant "lost in thought"-like voice. Most often on members streams where she's also more unfiltered. The pausing, I think, was her trying to keep herself in check and not trail into melancholy, which is how she usually processed sadness.

It's actually kinda surprising this is the first graduation of this type in pretty much the entire scene tbh. In the idol industry, it is not that uncommon to have members come back for special occasions like the example Kiara gave. One big example a lot of anime watcher probably experienced was with love live and muse, they graduated but most members kept making appearances in radios and doing voice acting for the games, no songs or concerts but not really gone. And even released a new song a few years later.

I think nobody is or will blame Ame for anything. Its her decision and that should be respected and its not like that she will be gone. I’m wondering if Ame is going to be a pioneering a new possibility for talents with Cover for this to happen. It must’ve taken months to get this solution. If so, I think Gura might be next as she constantly jokes about being “kinda retired”. I’m gonna miss Ame though even though she won’t really be gone. ​​@@alecaquino4306 because she can come back when she wants. If she really was graduating Cover retires the character of Amelia Watson, but they are not doing that. Just remember that once a hololive member graduates or gets terminated they don't use the character again

@@alecaquino4306 The key difference is that Ame explicitly said she will return for special events. As opposed to all current graduations/retirements. Cover has said that they are open to talents who graduated in good standing to return, but there is no current hints of that ever happening. Ame is staying contracted to Cover, so it sounds like there are certain events she might already expect to participate in. Future EnReco, Holofest, future Myth anniversaries are all possible events she might be present at. Some of the girls might also be able to convince her to rig up for lives as well. This is all conjecture though. Realistically this is uncharted territory so no one knows where this will all go.

Honestly bless Kiara heart. Out all of all of myth she had the biggest. Kiara expressed her love and affection towards Ame on multiple stream and it always touch my heart that people like Kiara are the reason why I love this community so darn much. I had multiple cry sessions remembering all the milestones Ame accomplishments since she debut but I can't help to feel so sad I won't be able to see her streams ever go live after the 30th of September. Ame will forever be my first Oshi and I'll cherish all the good memories she brought to me and this community. I love Myth, EN, and Hololive. What I love about Kiara is that she's always been the most open about her feelings. You could tell that Ame's graduation is hitting her especially hard and Its hitting me hard too because she was my favorite... All of Myth is my favorite.

It makes sense that Myth has been doing more collabs and have been streaming more often now as it's Ame's last moments. The reason RP MC was so well participated and being made was probably partly for Ame as well. I was surprised so many EN mems participated as so many of them have schedule and time constraints, collabs are so awfully rare nowadays for them. Great thing is, Ame could always make special appearances and help out and participate behind the scenes once in a while.

Damn, they knew since before their OneBlock collab. Not to mention how difficult it must have been to figure out the best time to announce it. Before Breaking Dimensions would have been nice, since that would have been a great curtain call, but would also put a damper on Advent's big show debut. And then ENreco happened. Followed by Myth's anniversary and GTA.

This goes a long way to help process Ame's departure and somewhat lessen the worry about EN in general. In times like this, I always appreciate Kiara's emotional honesty. Ina and Calli were among the first ones to talk about it on stream, but both of them tried to keep things light, in honor of Ame's wishes as well. But... Their words didn't comfort me it as much as I would have thought. Ina's talk felt more like getting a pat on the back and getting encouraged to "GO NEXT" with a smile on our faces. I wasn't ready to do that just yet though. BUT it did help a little to know that we the fans were not the only ones confused with how it was going to be, moving forward. Calli tried making things light, as she always felt the need to be the one people can be able to come to and cry on, but had a bit of trouble doing so. Which is understandable considering it's _her_ genmate _and_ friend that is leaving. And it may sound mean, but her not being able to completely keep it light actually helped me calm down even more. The fact she herself also did not feel like suddenly switching gears to get into her RP character, made me feel like she wasn't just commiserating with us but also knee-deep in the sea of sadness. So Kiara crying felt like a liberation of having to be a good-mannered fan. It felt like tacit approval that we can cry about it and be upset that things _are_ changing and there's nothing we can do about it. As a Sanallite, it devastated me when Sana left and I could barely function for a couple of weeks. But this? Having a founding member leave?? The main driving force of Myth in the early days??? I didn't know how to cope with it. But Kiara's tears and words helped me in trying to be able to come to terms with it. Knowing full well that a close member was feeling the same way as I did, I feel like I could finally find my footing.

It's sad. It's like when Aqua and A-chan left. One day, all the people we knew will have gone on to other things. But on the other hand, new people come, and we learn to love them, too. Nobody ever replaces the people we knew, but they help us realize we are not alone. When we say goodbye to Coco, we say hello to Ame. When we say goodbye to Sana, we later say hello to Biboo. Now that we are saying goodbye to Ame, we will eventually say hello to someone else. They will never replace our ground-pounding gremlin, but they might just help to carry on the legacy of bringing joy to others.

Before Coco graduated, she encouraged Ame to never stop pushing the boundaries of what Vtubers could do, and in many ways Ame took up the mantle of bringing innovation to the Vtubing scene. When Coco graduated, she joked that she would be back in 500 years, and several Holo members continued to add references to her in games (I personally really like the dragon flying over Minecraft Sports Fes). There was a desire in the community that Coco would make cameo appearances at special events. It never happened for Coco in the end, but it seems like Ame, true to her trendsetting legacy, might just make it happen. 💛

I was thinking of making a fanart tribute for all the Hololive talents who were graduated or....terminated. (I know you guys felt uncomfortable hearing this word, sorry.) And I thought of adding Ame for it. She was... what you call a “Ame-zing” vtuber who did all the things for Myth. I really admire Ame so much, when the announcement came up about Ame, I started crying, in complete silence. I didn’t wanna let my parents hear me cry because they wouldn’t understand how much I’ve seen my oshis come and go, but I really respect Ame’s decision and I wish her all the best, I really wish her to be happy for wherever she goes next.

I tried watching this live, especially since Kiara is my kamioshi and she is also #1 Ame Gosling, so I was quite curious to hear what she had to say... Once Wawa started crying, I had to stop watching...it was too heart-wrenching. Even now, writing this before watching this clip or the original stream, I don't know if I can bear to hear the pain from Wawa... Kiara has always seemed the most honest when it came to emotionality, i know this has been/will be hard for all the myth girls but i respect Kiara for really putting her heart on her sleave here. also... i was there on every one of their debut streams... Ame leaving is literally going to be a part of vtubing history as the first member of EN gen 1 to leave... but as the saying goes "nothing lasts forever".
