Ken and Ryu are high risk low reward characters and it’s kinda sad. If they’re so hard to use then make sure their damage output is higher. Hey need a buff soon

You can do a 0 to 76% out of a nair against all medium fallers with ken Nair forward tilt roundhouse in down grab in nair up air nair up air in up b If you start your down grab into nair you can not di out of it at this percent Vs heavys like dedede you can 0 to death Out of dair down grab upair fast fall in down grab to neutral air up air neutral air Up air down air the only point you can escape is if you up b out before the secound grab hits its just 1 frame gap i havent seen someone escaping out of it If you break out of this down tilt spam this character is busted in my opinion and i dont think the shotos need a buff With ken its more like high knowledge high reward you need to know what combo works with every character at the right percentage the pros always say that the combos dont work everytime which is just false because they played the character for max 10 games and stopped and have no idea The only problem they had was fixed they had no range but that was fixed in 3.0 they can now consistent slide with their tilts out of running so they actually got a huge buff but only true shotos know Me out

@@Neon-yj9xw i do this all the time online and tested it with a friend with air dodging and max di if you full speed nair out of down grab you can di out of it if you di in the opposite direction but if you half speed the nair its impossible to di with hravys its impossible anyway If you start down grab at around 28-32% you can do the nair up air juggle and plattforms wont even affect the combo and down grab in nair is only true and its rly tight at around 26-34% with medium fallers And with heavys i think it was 38%

Ryu and Ken may not be up to the task. The risk/reward ratio that the shotos abide by in Street Fighter simply doesn't apply in Smash. Plus frames on block, projectile invincibility on the tatsumaki, start up invincibility on the shoryuken, hadouken having reasonable hitstun... All the combos in the world can't make up for inherent weakness coupled with cross-over syndrome.

Fun to watch Ryu and Ken, but the stun lock of Joker and an augmented advantage and mitigated disadvantage state just makes him seem powercreeped to watch. One person is playing with every stat bar stretched further.

If this doesn’t prove that the nerfs ryu got from the transition were too high and unnecessary, then idk what will, they are characters with a big skill gap and yet a true shoryu can’t kill a Lucina with 110% I am not necessarily asking for damage increases but bring back the old down b and shoryu Also imo akuma would have been a better fit than ken (character is cooler imo)

@@FXFXFXFX Echo fighters don't "steal" a slot from others. Echoes require less time to make then completely original characters and are put in solely to expand the roster. Either Ken is in or he isn't, in neither case would Chun Li be in.

All echos except maybe a couple exceptions are better off as alternative skins. In some characters alt skins are a different character- Olimar and alph, in others theyre separate selectiond- Peach and Daisy. In a perfect smash game echos would be gone for more playstyles and characters. Would be much better to have Akuma as someone else mentioned or Chun Li or literally anyone else. Echos are dumb. Period.
