Very emotional story....I got teary eyed seeing the story. When Gomu said to God to take his life rather than someone else's soul, tears rolled down my eyes. I think that god let him return because he choose not to take someone else's life in order to save his life...... knowing that with this choise he will loose Pichu and Pichu will be very sad without him.....but he kept his integrity and made the right decision even though the consequences where bad for him and Pichu.... but god saw that and that's why he let him go back.....Someone could also say that it was a test by god in order to see how kind hearted gomu is....
