This track, was a response to Nova's love song to Tom. Nova's track features Tom, it's called "Gang gang" which is Nova's fanbase. Nova asked Gang gang, and Hang Over Gang to put the pressure on Tom to propose. She was watching a proposal TV show, to drop hints, and also H.O.G. was lighting up the comment section of his livestream to force the message. Tom kinda addressed it that he was trying to figure out the best way to do so. Then it happened again. Nova had her 4th health scare. She was shooting a music video for Tom and her nebulizer quit working, the whole ambulance call, her laying down on a sidewalk, etc.... an hour later Nova is back to shooting the music video. After that the whole proposal seemed to drop out of the conversation. Nobody talks about it anymore. It was like a vacuum that filled with something else, and plugged it up. BTW that is: Jamie, and LeAnn MacDonald, Tom's parents. They so happened to come to the United States to see Tom and Nova, but Tom and Nova were shooting this video, and Tom thought who else better that he wants to mimic a relationship after..... so they added them in it.

This song was going to go to number one in Canada; based on the response it received. Everyone was requesting it from the Radio Stations. When Justin Trudeau found out about it....he called in some favours and got it pulled. Censorship is alive and well in Canada.

When they filmed this video in late 2022, Tom's parents were visiting them. His mom was making home made lasagna and Nova asked them if they wanted to do a cameo. Tom's dad has been in other videos like "End of the World" a song Tom did with John Rich of Big & Rich fame.

The whole thing went like this: Crypt and other YT rappers wrote Lethal's rap, so Crypt got caught in the process ... Tom released "Straight White Male," and Lethal started crap on Twitter. 1) Lethal Injection - Tom's response (diss) to Lethal's tweets 2) Single white female - Lethal (Crypt and others actually wrote this) - Lethal took it down but search for it. It's up. 3) Mac Lethal Sucks - Tom Aftermath: 4) Mac Lethal Sucks pt 2 - Lethal 5) I'm Sorry - Tom Crypt knows he's been caught, so he knows he has to carry through: 6) Crypt Cypher vol 2 - Crypt 7) No Response - Tom (The paddy cake was directed at Crypt. He set up his booth in his closet at the time lmao.) 8) Rapping from my closet - Crypt There was a whole bunch of Twitter smack talk. In the aftermath, Tom decided not to give them any attention directly because it only helped their numbers. Here are a few involved. Violent J, RA, Yung $hade, Novatore, Jay Wyatt, Michael White, Trap Terell, Yellowpain, Blind Fury, Quadecca, Crypt, and Mac Lethal. The beef is squashed now.

I can't believe "The System" isn't recommended more. If you want a hard hitter, that's the one. Now, when you are ready to broaden your artist horizon, he does a lot of collaberation tracks that are phenomenal. Of these, I recommend starting with In God We Trust, Your America, American Flags. If you want to get back to just Tom macdonald songs, then Superman, I Wish, and Best Rapper Ever are all so good. I hope you can get to all these because, in my opinion, these are his best ones. Then you can get on the Adam Calhoun, Struggle Jennings, and Dax bus since he collaborates with them quite a bit on his newer stuff! You'll like 'em!
