So tom paid 100,000 for a NFT from eminem..the beat as well as a bunch of other stuff was in the package..tom bid on it and won.. the beat is called Stan's Revenge. The car is actually from the Stan song ..at the end of the video it was driven into the water when Stan tried to kill his girlfriend and himself.. so tom found the exact car and that's why it has seaweed and water etc in the video...because tom made the video from the aspect that it's stans car from the bottom of the lake..realistically eminem didnt know who got the beat cause it was an NFT .. it took tom over 2 weeks too come up with this song.

The car in the “Dear Slim” video was an exact replica of the car from Eminem’s video “Stan”!! Tom bought it, sanded it down, and painted it!! He didn’t PAY to have it done, he did it HIMSELF!! Freaking outstanding!! The underwater scenes were filmed in his pool and him and Nova BUILT “Stans” room for #DearSlim!! #KingOfTheGrind!! #HangoverGangForever🔥🔥🤘🤘🌟🌟🏆🏆 Tom said that him and one of his buddies set up a water flow system inside the car for continuously flowing water to pour down it like it was freshly pulled out of the river! Also, peep the seaweed and the #HOG and #DearSlim spray painted on the door! There’s also a sega genesis, a 90s stereo and speakers with a bunch of other nostalgic items from the “Stan” time frame! To quote Tom from “No Response“, he’s a marketing genius and the definition of a creator and an entertainer!! The underwater scenes represent Stan after driving his car off the bridge if you remember in the video of Eminem’s. In other words Tom is Stan reincarnated trying to speak to the Eminem of the current day. Can we just appreciate how almost impossible it is to do what Tom did underwater? He wasn’t just mouthing the words he was mouthing them fluently and precisely!! And the screaming scene...OMG!!!🔥🔥🤘🤘🌟🌟🏆🏆 he is so incredible!! Continuous musical, lyrical, visual, Eminem references (car, water/drowning, clothes, goalie mask, video set design) could all be creepy fan obsessions behavior but in the end it is not. The only public "response" to this came in a track Royce put out shortly after this. GREED. In that track there is a line that says "tell tom macdonald WE don't agree with his views but we approve of his honesty" So the WE is left up to interpretation...

@@BeersBars Pls read: Eminem knows EVERYONE in the Rap game as he is a proven Rap/Hip-Hop historian. He knew exactly WHO won his NFT Auction for the 100K, but the 100K didn't go to Eminem. The 100K went to Eminem's Charity "The Marshall Mathers Foundation" Em knows who Tom is & knew who won the Auction, especially considering one of Em's best friends Royce da 5'9 & Tom have been following each other on Instagram & have commented on each others posts & have even spoken on the phone several times since 2019. Also that car is the same exact 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, same as the one in the original "Stan" Music Video, but NOT the same exact car used in the "Stan" Music Video. Tom bought a 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo from a LA junkyard & it was Black. Tom sanded the car down himself, painted the car the same pale blue color himself, then added seaweed & then Tom had a friend build a custom pump that would continuously pump water out of the windows to make it seem like it was just taken from the lake "Stan" drove it into with his pregnant GF. The underwater Rapping scenes were filmed with black water proof tarps lining & weights to hold them down at the bottom in Tom's backyard pool, Tom and Nova also built “Stans” room in one of their spare bedrooms in their house. The area where Tom was Rapping on top of the car were shot in Tom's garage. I know all of this as I've been a Tom fan since 2013/14 while Tom was still here in Canada fighting his Mental health & severe addiction issues that led to his severe Mental Breakdown in 2016/17. Tom's first listened to Tupac's "All Eyez On Me" Tom listened to the double CD set a million times as a kid, but couldn't see himself as a Rapper as Pac Rapped about thug life & gang banging. But then Tom heard Eminem from a kid on a school bus who had a Sony Discman & stole an Eminem CD from his older brother & THAT bridged the gap & made Tom believe he could become a Rapper. Tom paid 100K just to give Eminem his Flowers for everything Eminem did for him. In doing so Tom became the first ever Independent Rapper to do so. Tom & Eminem have so much in common it's honestly scary. Tom's the hardest working artist I've ever seen & with Nova's help is why Tom's at the very Top of his lane in Rap/Hip-Hop! I don't think that's true. Royce came out with a song not long after with a message "Tell Thomas Macdonald that while WE don't agree with his views, WE respect his honesty." Also, when asked during livestreams, Tom has said on multiple occasions that he knows for a 100% fact that Em doesn't have a problem with him but he's not going to namedrop and reveal who he talked to or how he knows. I like their reactions but I can’t help wondering 💭 how the hell can they read so little of the comments that they don’t know about how Tom bought this with his nft. I guarantee that it was mentioned in 90% of the requests for this song. It’s extremely disappointing, and revealing, when reaction channels don’t even know the most basic facts about them, that are in almost every other comments. With other artists it really doesn’t matter, hell it doesn’t even matter if you can distinguish them from other artists, but with Tom and Nova it’s must know and crucial information to understand most of their music. You will miss 90% of the hardest lines. Especially with Nova. Most of her songs reference multiple of her older songs. Please read a few of the comments to improve your reactions. You’ll really appreciate their music that much more.
